Coffee Anyone?

I love coffee.  It's my beverage of choice and I drink it, literally, all day!  This sentiment made me giggle, because it's so me :)

For my card, I created a simple mixed media background using distress oxide inks and water.  The stamped (and gold embossed) images are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Texture Tiles 9.  These fun cups of coffee are from the Coffee Talk stamp set (which also has a coordinating die set available).  Both of these sets are a MUST for coffee lovers!

Walkin On Sunshine

Sunflowers make me happy!  When I place a bouquet of them in my home, it's like bringing in a bit of sunshine!

For my card, I used the following Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps goodies:

Like A Sunflower stamp set

I Like Big Cups stamp set

Woodland Friends

How cute are these darling woodland critters from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps?!  They certainly make me smile!

For my card, I created a background using Distress Oxide Mustard Seed ink pad and spritzing with water.  The fence was created using the rectangle shaped stamp in the Wood Backgrounds set which I stamped on kraft cardstock, cut into strips and added a couple strips of brown cardstock for at the top and bottom.

The critters are from the Fur-ever Friends set and this pretty sentiment is from the My Thoughts of You set.

You're Amazing

Do you know someone who is amazing?  I'm certain you do!  Why not let them know how special you think they are?!  Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has fabulous sets to use to create the most uplifting, positive message projects!

For my card, I created a mixed media background using Distress Oxide Inks and splattered with watered down black paint. The image is from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set - which also comes in a bundle with the coordinating die.  The sentiment is from My Thoughts of You stamp set.

Pretty flowers in a tea cup...now that makes me happy!  It's also making me happy to be a guest designer for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this month :)

For my card, I used a gorgeous Sweet 'n Sassy set:  In This Together.  This set also comes in a digital option too!

Plus, the sentiments in this set are uplifting and really lovely.

Happy Sunflower

I'm thrilled to be a Guest Designer this month for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and excited to share my first card for this month!

Sunflowers make me happy which is probably why I fell in love with the Like a Sunflower stamp set!  I chose to paper piece the larger sunflower in the set and use this happy sentiment from the set.

Saturday Coffee Cafe - Today, It's On Me

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Cafe!  I'm so glad you stopped in today to see what's brewin'...

Sip, sip hooray!  While I'm unable to literally buy you all a wonderful cup of coffee, I can at least share a coffee card with you to let you know I want to!

For my card, I created a background with a few different colors of Distress Oxide ink (Salvaged Patina, Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral).  I then stamped coffee rings around the background with a stamp in the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps set Texture Tiles 9 set  For the center, I cut aqua cardstock with Pinkfresh Blanket Stitched Circle die and gold embossed this sentiment from Jaded Blossom Coffee and Friends stamp set. Using the same set, I stamped, cut and colored several of the coffee pot images and arranged them on the card.

Saturday Coffee Cafe - A Day Without Coffee?

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Cafe!  I'm so glad you stopped in to see what's brewin' today...

A day without coffee?  Nah!  Ok, maybe when I was pregnant a couple decades ago!  This sentiment really makes me giggle...it's so me.

For my card, I cut brown cardstock with Pinkfresh Studio Blanket Stitched Circle die to form an opening then stamped the coffee stains using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Texture Tiles 9 set and a watermark/embossing ink.  These fun coffee cups and sentiment are from a delightful set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps called Coffee Talk.   To finish, I added these cute little coffee bean embellishments from Trinity Stamps.

Saturday Coffee Cafe - Get Together with Friends

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Cafe!  It's so good to see you here...come on in to see what's brewing!

The simple joy of getting together with a friend or two for a cup of coffee has been a challenge for so many this last year (...yes, it's been a very long year!).  Being a major introvert, I was 'ok' when we mostly stayed home, but now even I can't wait to get together with people!  There are many things I'll never take for granted again, that's for sure.

For my slimline card, I layered a brown checked pattern paper to the cardbase.  I then cut dark brown cardstock with the HONEY BEE BARN WOOD PLANK DIES and swiped them with HERO ARTS UNICORN INK PAD  before adhering them along the card.  These sweet little friends are from CLEARLY BESOTTED SPILLING TEA set...are these critters not the cutest?!!  The diecut words are from HONEY BEE PERFECT BLEND DIE SET.   The cup and steam dies are from Paper Smooches (I really miss Kim's company!) and the sentiment is from SWEET 'N SASSY STAMPS COCOA'S CUPS.

In honor of the 'hop', I'm sharing my FIRST, favorite Sweet 'n Sassy coffee/tea-themed set that I used when I guest designed for Sweet 'n Sassy.  I couldn't resist sharing this darling little bunny from the Tea 4 Two set!

I created a simple gatefold card featuring the little teacup bunny image.  I then placed a few of the other images - the sunflower and ladybugs - to the inside corner of the card which I layered with glossy glaze.

Be sure to join the 'hop' for fun, inspiration and chance to win the prize!

I'm so excited to share my card featuring some of my new Sweet 'n Sassy coffee/tea themed faves!!

To start, I blended several colors of distress oxide onto the slimline card base.  I  stamped the corners of the card using one of the stamps in the Textured Tiles #9 stamp set and then added one of the sentiments from the Coffee Talk set to the base.

I LOVE THESE CUPS from the I Like Big Cups set!!  They are big, bold and absolutely perfect for paper piecing which is one of my favorite techniques!  I used pattern papers from Carta Bella Home Again 6x6 pad which are beautiful designs.  To finish, I added these cute Kat Scrappiness Coffee Bean embellishments.

I really do love my coffee...it's like a rainbow in a cup!

For my next card, I created a watercolor rainbow background with distressed oxide inks.  I stamped the coffee stain images using one of the stamps from the Texture Tiles #9 set then stamped, cut and colored these super cute cups from the Coffee Talk set.  To finish, I stamped one of the fun sentiments from the Coffee Talk set.

Be sure to hop along and leave a comment along the way as you enjoy all the wonderful projects both the CLC and Sweet 'n Sassy Design Teams are sharing!
