Time Out Challenges - Guest Designer!

What inspired me about the photo was imagining sitting by the water with a cool, summer beverage!  My card features Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Dies and Oliver's Stitched ABC dies.

Summer Bouquet

 

It's the middle of summer already -- I can't believe how fast it's going!  I'm excited that my flowers are still doing ok even after the hot weather we've had recently.  Today I'm sharing a Dare 2B Artzy summer bouquet and wishing you a beautiful summer day!

To My Person

 

To all my wonderful family and friends...You make life more beautiful!!  And these wonderful products from Dare 2B Artzy help create super easy, beautiful creations!

For my card, I layered a Countryside Floral pattern paper on the front/card base.  I then scored the top corner, folded it down and layered that section with the pattern paper and cardstock.  Did you know that many of the images found in Dare 2B Artzy's pattern paper can be cut out using the coordinating die sets that also go with the stamp set?  That's how I cut out these images for my card!

Sweet As Honeysuckle

 

Summer!  When I was a kid, I remember a house down the street that had a trellis filled with honeysuckle.  It was a summer-time favorite to pluck a few of the flowers and taste the sweet honey at the tips!

For my card, I created a fence/trellis as the background and used these beautiful products from This Calls For Confetti:

I hope you are enjoying these last days of summer not to mention some yummy summer fruit favorites like watermelon!

For my card, I first layered dark green cardstock to the card base.  I then added this pattern paper layer, putting glaze on the "watermelon pits" to make them shiny.  Using a pierced circle die, I cut dark green, black and lime green cardstock and layered them together for the backdrop for this super sweet MELON MUNCHER image.  The sentiment from this set is white heat embossed on a black cardstock mini tag and I added a lime bow.
 

 

Happy Summer Melon Muncher

 

One of the best parts of summer is the yummy fruit - especially watermelon!  This little cutie can't get enough of his juicy melon!

 

For my card, I layered lime green cardstock to the card base.  I embossed a piece of pink cardstock to layer on top of that.  I had a strip of watermelon pattern paper in my stash which worked perfectly for this set then created a framed background for this adorable MELON MUNCHER stamp set. I copic colored the image and then fussy cut it before popping it up on the framed background.  The 'happy summer' sentiment is included in the set.  To finish, I added several black shiny enamel dots.

Sweet Scents of Summer

 

Can’t you just smell the scent of oranges?!  This lovely Orange Blossoms die set fromAltenew is perfect for creating projects for any occasion.  I coupled it with the Altenew Window Slats Embossing Folder for the background and sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Be Still stamp set which I cut out with the Honey Bee Stamps Be Still coordinating die.

Floating By To Say "Hi"

 

What a perfect way to spend a hot, summer day…casually floating the day away in a cool pool with some friends!

My card features the new Making Waves Cover Die which is a perfect complement for the Flocks of Love stamp set (and coordinating dies). The ‘hi’ sentiment is from an awesome all occasion die set: Simple Greetings Dies.

 

Walkin On Sunshine

 Sunflowers make me happy!  When I place a bouquet of them in my home, it's like bringing in a bit of sunshine!
