Pretty Little Kitties

The NEW Just Fur You stamp set with coordinating dies are purr-fect for so many occasions...plus these pretty little kitties are SUPER CUTE!

For my first card, I created a background using the Paw Prints Stencil and brushed a couple different colors of distress oxide ink with Mini Ergonomic Blending Brushes. Using the larger die in the Reverse Scallop Rectangle Dies set, I cut dark purple cardstock and placed it over the background piece; adhering them to the card base. The image and sentiment are both from the NEW Just Fur You stamp set with coordinating dies. The backdrop for the kitty image was created by cutting two different colored cardstocks with one of the Reverse Scallop Rectangle Dies. The sentiment is white embossed and cut with one of the Extra Large Sentiment Strip dies.

For my second card, I created a background using one of the Cats Foilable Panels and Fairy Wings Violet CheerFoil then running them through the Mini Minc Foiling Machine. Using the larger die in the Reverse Scallop Rectangle Dies set, I cut bright blue cardstock and placed it over the background piece; adhering them to the card base. The images and sentiment are both from the NEW Just Fur You stamp set with coordinating dies. The backdrop for the kitty images was created by cutting two different colored cardstocks with one of the Reverse Scallop Rectangle Dies. The sentiment is white embossed and cut with one of the Extra Large Sentiment Strip dies.

Better Together

It IS better when we're together with family and friends!   This last year has been difficult with people being unable to get together and visit.  Even us introverts are starting to miss being around people!  The one thing we do know is that we are better together and we figure out ways to connect.

Reverse Confetti and Hero Arts recent collaboration on the Better Together set just goes to show how incredible things can happen when we team up towards a common interest.

Join the Reverse Confetti & Hero Arts hop to get all the details on this fabulous set and to be inspired by the incredible creations from the Design Teams!  We are giving away $50 gift cards to TWO lucky winners, drawn from comments left across the blog hop. One gift code will be to the Hero Arts store, and the other to Reverse Confetti. Comment on the hop by Thursday, February 25th at 11:59pm pst. The more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances to win!

For my card, I cut Premier Polar White cardstock with the Squared Off Cover Panel and adhered it to the card base.  This sweet elephant and mouse from the Coffee & You set are showing off the delightful flowers created with the Better Together set!  To finish, I gold embossed one of the sentiments in this new set on to Dark Roast cardstock.

It's the season of giving Thanks!  This one is for all my crafty friends out there.  We may know each other personally, we may know each other online and have never met, or we may not even know each other yet we have a love of crafting together.   You are all my crafty soul sisters (and brothers) and I'm so thankful for you!!

My card today features several fabulous goodies from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!  To create the wood background and tree slice backdrop, I used the Wood Backgrounds set.  These darling forest creatures and other images are all from the Fur-ever Friends set which is great for Fall themed projects, but will work very well for holiday projects too!

Happiest Animal In The World

If you're like me, you've never heard of a Quokka (pronounced "kwaa-ka").  I've learned a few things about this happy little guy...

* Quokkas are small wallabies (think: the same family as kangaroos, except these little guys only grow to be about the size of a domestic cat.)

* Quokkas are native to southwestern Australia (off the coast of Perth), with the biggest population residing on Rottnest Island.

 * All quokkas appear to be perpetually smiling, which is what earned them that sweet "happiest animal on earth" moniker.

Thanks to that never-ending smile, quokkas are intensely photogenic—so much so, that they became known on a worldwide scale after a man posted a "quokka selfie" with the smiling, furry critter that went viral, and put them on the map.

Now that you know a little more about this darling animal, on to my card!

I used the brand new Scalloped Slimline Dies being released today to create the background.  I also used the  Slimline Foliage Slimline as a border.  And of course, our featured cutie, Quokka stamp set!

Hey, Pink & Main Fans! There are some winter creatures stirring in Pink & Main's newest release and they are ADORABLE!!

I cut a circle opening with one of the Layered Circle Dies and created a shaker window. On the bottom of the card, I used one of the Scallop Waves Dies to cut a pattern from the Be Merry Paper Pad.

To Brighten Your Day

Hey, 'Fetti Fans!  Today I'm sharing a fun slimline card to, hopefully, brighten your day!

For my card, I blended inks to create a background.  I then stamped and colored several images from the Multi-Step Cacti stamp set and then cut them out with the coordinating Multi-Step Cacti Confetti Cuts.  The sweet little pup is from the adorable Corgi Cuties set and coordinating Corgi Cuties Confetti Cuts (say that three times fast)!

To finish, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Best Sentiments set onto Salsa cardstock and cut it out with one of the Three Tags Confetti Cuts.
