Celebrating Valentine's Day

For our first date, my husband and I didn't look at the date and just agreed 'Friday works' for our schedules.  We didn't realize that it was Valentine's Day - sorry, not a great 'first date' day.  But my husband showed up at my door that day with flowers and champagne and said - What the heck it's Valentine's Day, let's celebrate.  I swear that was the day I knew I'd marry that man!

For my card, I used these chocolate covered strawberries dies from Pretty Pink Posh Valentine Mug Addition Dies and sentiments from Pink & Main.

I'm happy to be sharing my card in these challenges:

My card features several wonderful Lawn Fawn goodies!

1)  For the background, I cut light pink cardstock using Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop die.

Sending Love & Hugs

Sending someone a paper hug and lots of love is easy - and SO fun - with Pink & Main's newest release

For my first card, I adhered lime green cardstock to the card base. I then cut light blue cardstock with the new Polka Hearts Cover Die. As a backdrop for the images, I cut light pink cardstock with the Double Stitched Dome Dies. These SUPER cute images are from the new Prickly Hugs stamp set and coordinating dies.

For my next card, I cut raspberry cardstock with the new Heart Spotlight Cover Die and adhered the 'frame' onto the card base. Using the same die, I cut several different designs from the Hooray Paper Pad and placed them into the die frame. These stinkin' cute images and sentiment are from the new Stinkin' Sweet stamp set and coordinating dies.

Sending Lots of Love

There's just TOO much to LOVE in the new Pink & Main Release!! In fact, I have TWO different projects I'm sharing today because I'm having so much fun creating with these goodies!

For my first project, I created a fun and easy slimline card. I cut a piece of white cardstock using the Layered Slim Line Dies. With the new Conversation Hearts Stencil and using Mini Ergonomic Blending Brushes, I brushed on red ink using the first stencil then brown with the 2nd layering stencil in this set - so cute - then adhered this piece onto the card base. I added a piece of dark brown cardstock to the center then added the gold embossed sentiment created with the new My Heart Smile stamps and coordinating dies. To finish, I added a touch of bling with these pretty gold gems from the Sparkle Gems collection.

It was SO fun to create these darling little notes created with two different sets that are actually perfect pairs!

The first set of mini note cards were created with the new Take The Cake stamp set and coordinating dies. It's super easy to color in these little images and the sentiments just make me giggle. As a backdrop for the images on each card, I used the Stitched Circle dies.

The next set I used for this batch of note cards is called One Smart Cookie and there are coordinating dies too! How darling are these images and coordinating sentiments?! For the image backdrops, I used the Postage Dies.

Double The Love

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I was looking to do some quick, fun cards and came up with this little Valentine duo that was easy to create – and fun to put together!

First, I blended these inks onto a Cloud White cardstock base: Wisteria, Royal Purple, Magenta and Peach inks.  I then used one of the hearts in the Hearts Confetti Cuts set; putting aside the striped diecuts from the heart and placing a piece of Piggy Pink cardstock behind the opening before adhering the blended piece onto the card base.

The darling little raccoon is from the Love Is In The Air stamps/dies and the sentiment, gold embossed on Midnight cardstock, is from the Words of Love set.  After placing the image and sentiment, I added a few glitter glossy dots.

For the next card, I took Royal Purple cardstock, and used one of the Hearts Confetti Cuts to cut the heart in the top, center of the card and adhered the cardstock piece to the card base.   I took the striped diecut pieces from the first card and paper pieced them into the striped openings in the heart on this card.  The little kitty is also from the Love Is In The Air stamp/die set and sentiment from the Words of Love set.
