Pink & Main and Therm-O-Web Collaboration!

Wednesday, December 4, 2019

Pink & Main is thrilled to be collaborating with Therm O Web!!  To celebrate, we have TWO prizes to be won! Scroll down to the end to see how!

Below are two cards I created using both Pink & Main and Therm O Web products together...

For my first card, I used the Gina K Petals & Wings Stencil with Gina K Gold Glitz Glitter Gel.  I first sprayed the stencil with Pixi Spray which keeps the stencil flat and in place when applying the gel -- it's a game-changer!  The Glitter Gel is soooo sparkly and goes on so easy (I had to get several colors!)

The flowers are Pink & Main Mum Dies which I thought went very well with the stencil leaves.  The sentiments are from Pink & Main's Just Because sentiment set!

For my next card, I cut the aqua and white cardstock using dies from the Stitched Rectangle Set 1 Dies.  I then used the Gina K Crazy Daisy stencil and Gina K White Glitz Glitter Gel for the background.  I cut the snowflakes from three different shades of blue using the smaller of the Bold Snowflake Dies.  To finish, I used Silver Glossy Dots for the snowflake centers and added the sentiment from Just Because sentiment set.

Here is what you’ll need to do, like BOTH Therm O Web AND Pink & Main Instagram page and Subscribe to our YouTube Channels.

Thankful For You

Wednesday, November 27, 2019

Happy Thanksgiving!  Many of my fellow Americans are likely busy today in preparation for tomorrow's feast with friends and family.  In the midst of all this busyness, let me say how THANKFUL I am for all of YOU - for your friendship, your passion for crafting (like me!) and your love of Pink & Main!

For my card today, I created a background using distress oxide inks and the Four Points Star Stencil.  I stamped and colored these lovely flowers from the Fall Bouquets stamps with coordinating dies.  To finish, I placed a strip of orange cardstock, edged with brown ink, and cut brown cardstock using the 'Thanks' word die.

Blessings to you and yours this Thanksgiving!

STAMPlorations New Stencil Designer!

Wednesday, April 24, 2019

We have some very exciting news...our very own Helen Gullett has designed a fabulous line of stencils for STAMplorations and we're celebrating with a super fun blog hop!

Helen has done an incredible job on these stencils!  Each one contains two fab designs that can be used in so many ways.

For my first card, I created a grass and sky background with distress oxide inks and used Helen's Make Marks 4 stencil as geometric 'blades of grass" - so fun!  The houses are from the Carved Houses set that I stamped in bright colors and the sentiment was cut from shiny gold cardstock using the "Life Is Good" Phrase Die.

For my next card, I used the Make Marks 3 stencil sponging dark brown distress oxide ink - I thought these circles looked a little like coffee rings or beans :)  Then I used the Make Marks 6 stencil and applied a glittery metallic embossing paste.  The coffee image and sentiment are from the STAMPlorations And Coffee set.

Be sure to hop with us to see the wonderful projects the Design Team is sharing highlighting Helen's new stencil line!

Glittering Snowflakes

Sunday, January 20, 2019

Brrrr!  Snow storm came through our area yesterday and left a LOT of glittering snowflakes...about 5" worth and cold, cold, cold temps!  The best thing to do today was to just stay inside and play in my craft room.  Like I need an excuse :)

For my card, I started by making a stencil template from the Snowballs Cover Panel and used glitter paste to create the glittery background.  Using the Layered Snowflake die from Reverse Confetti, I cut Baby Blue and Navy cardstock then added lots of bling!  If snowflakes looked like this, I could actually handle 5" of them!

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration..

Winter Has Arrived

Wednesday, January 9, 2019

The weather here has been mostly mild.  In fact, yesterday it was 59 degrees late morning!  Yes, that's really unusual for the midwest in January and today we're back to winter with low temps and snow flurries!

So it seemed appropriate to create something a bit frosty :)  I layered black cardstock onto the card base.  Then I created a panel using Newton's Nook new Plaid Stencil set and distress oxide ink (Broken China and Black Soot).  I cut red cardstock for the frame cut with one of My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Frames.  For the inside of the frame, I blended Broken China then cut a strip of glitter paper for 'snow'.  This sweet little snowman and sentiment are from Newton's Nook Frozen Friends. To finish, I added some clear, sparkly sequins.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration:

Snow Snuggable

Thursday, December 20, 2018

I've so enjoyed guesting with Whimsy Stamps over the last several months - thank you, Whimsy Stamps, for having me!  For my last Guest project, I couldn't resist using this wonderful Bundled Up Amped2Stamp set designed by Deb Davis!

For my card, I went with a soft winter look.  First layering a pale blue cardstock onto the base, I then created the background by using the Pinwheels Stencil and Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Mother of Pearl and cutting out a circle. Can I just say I love this stencil!  It reminds me of snow, but I can also see 'sparklers' for New Years and July 4th!

Within the circle, I stamped the trees from the Bundled Up Amped2Stamp set and cut some shimmery white cardstock for the 'snow'.  I can't get enough of these super sweet images that were copic colored and fussy cut.  For the sentiment, I used one of the dies in the Card Builders Window Die set to cut pale blue cardstock.

Wishing all of you a very blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
