Divinity Designs Father's Day

Divinity Designs May Release is filled with the perfect stamps, dies and paper to create fabulous Dad and Grad cards and gifts!

For my first card, I cut dark brown cardstock with one of the Pierced Rectangles Dies and embossed with the new Fish embossing folder.  For the bottom half layer, I cut one of the patterns from the new Weathered Wood Paper Collection using one of the Pierced Rectangles Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Best Dad Ever set.  The lovely ducks image is also from the Best Dad Ever set which I stamped on white cardstock, copic colored then cut using one of the Circles Dies and layered dark green cardstock using one of the Scalloped Circles Dies.

For my next card, I chose to go for a clean and simple look.  I layered dark brown cardstock onto the card base then layered a pattern from the Weathered Wood Paper Collection. I gold embossed the ducks image from the Best Dad Ever set and stamped one of the sentiments on white cardstock then cut both using Squares Dies layering them on dark brown cardstock cut with Scalloped Squares Dies.  To finish, I tied natural twine to a brad and adhered to the back of the image piece to make it look like a picture hanging on the wall.

For the sentiment tags, I used the new Dream Big stamp set to stamp on one of the Treat Tags Dies.

Divinity Designs Mother's Day

Divinity Designs April Release is filled with lovely images and dies to create something special for your mom, grandma, daughter or friend!

For my first card, I used one of the Pierced Rectangles Dies to cut dark olive cardstock and adhered to the cardbase.  I used the Triangle Quilt Die to first cut black cardstock for the 'frame', then cut patterns from the Cozy Quilt Collection and Beautiful Blooms paper pads and inlaid the pieces into the black cardstock frame.

I stamped the flower and sentiment from the Grandmother's Heart stamp set onto white cardstock, colored the bloom with copic markers then cut the panel using one of the Pierced Rectangles Dies.

For my next card, I created a softer card using the Half Shutter Card and Layers dies.  The pattern paper is from the Romantic Florals paper pad.  The pretty flowers and sentiment are from the Daughter's Best Friend set and both were stamped on white cardstock and cut out with one of the Ovals Dies then layered with one of the Scallop Ovals Dies.  For the 'mother' part, I used Alphabet Flag Dies cut from two different papers in the Romantic Florals paper pad.

Divinity Designs Celebrating You

Have you seen the fabulous Divinity Designs February Release?!!  Today I'm sharing two projects created with several of the newest goodies - and a couple older faves, too!

This first project is perfect for a teacher, student or office worker.  I began cutting red cardstock using the new Test Tube Trio Dies and cut patterns from the Chalkboard Collection Paper Pad with the layers dies included in the die set.  The adorable die cuts were made using the Clipboard Set Dies.  The sentiments, from the Treat Tag Sentiments #2 stamp set, were stamped and cut out using one of the banner dies inclued in the Test Tube Trio Dies.  I filled the Test Tubes with paper clips, clamps and push pins.  Bet you have great ideas on items to fill the tubes with too!

I always seem to need make a quick birthday card and this one is super easy to pull together!

To start, I cut white cardstock using one of the Pierced Rectangles dies.  Then, using the Flower Burst Stencil, I blended a few bright colors of distress oxide ink.  The new Birthday Stamp/Die Duo is perfect for adding quick and interesting sentiments!  I also added a candle from the Birthday Candle dies.

Divinity Designs Special Treats

Divinity Designs March Release is filled with special treats for you to create, give -- or keep for yourself! Today I create two special gifties with fun and yummy treats...

This Christmas treats gift was created with the new Test Tube Trio Dies.  I cut the basic die in blue cardstock then used the layers dies, bow die and label dies (included in the Test Tube Trio Dies ) to cut patterns from the Christmas Collection (2017) Paper Pad.  For the front, I used one of the new Scalloped Squares Dies to layer and cut another design from the paper pad using one of the Squares Dies.  The fun sentiments are from the Treat Tag Sentiments #3 stamp set.  I filled the tubes with crushed peppermint, mini jingle bells and Snow-caps candy!

Onto the next special treat project...

For this project, I used the Test Tube Treat Dies which I first cut yellow cardstock for the actual 'box' and, using the layering dies included, cut patterns from the Birthday Bash Paper Pad.  The sweet cupcake was created using Beverage Cup Dies and I added the candle from the Birthday Candle Dies; for a background, I cut blue paper from the Birthday Brights paper pad using one of the Scalloped Circles Dies.  The sentiment, from Treat Tag Sentiments #2, was stamped on orange paper from the Birthday Brights paper pad and cut using one of the banner dies from the Test Tube Treat Dies.

This cute treat gifty would go perfect with a cupcake ready to have sprinkles put on top.  Now I'm hungry for a cupcake!
