Happy New Year!

We'll be ringing in a new year in a few weeks...get ready to party! Pink & Main's recent release is packed with lots of goodies that will definitely have you celebrating!

For my card, I first layered some gold glitter cardstock from the Metallics Glitter Paper Pad. I then cut Ice Rink cardstock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Set 1 dies. After heat embossing the sentiment from the Happy New Year stamp set with Embossing/Watermark Ink Pad and Golden Palace Embossing Powder, I blended the new Barbershop Premium Dye Ink with an Ergonomic Blending Brush then splattered some white ink. I add these darling images from the Party Time stamp set with coordinating dies that I've Copic colored. To finish, I placed a bit of Glitter Enamel Dots.

Dream!

It's a new year! Time to make new goals, search new opportunities and DREAM of the possibilities!

For my card, I used Bold Butterfly Cover Die Panels A, B & C. I LOVE how these dies layer together to create a gorgeous butterfly and the color combinations are endless - I even cut one of the dies using silver glitter cardstock from the Metallic Glitter Paper Pack! For the word, I used Thin Alpha Dies.

Cheers!

Happy New Year!  Celebrating with Cake & Champagne seems like the perfect way to ring in 2020 -- don't you think?!

Creating this bridge card was so much fun!  I started with a piece of Cloud White cardstock (4.25 x 7.5") and scored at 1" and 2" on each end.  For the center, I cut Lead cardstock using the Stitched Burst Cover Panel and for the sides, layered a paper from the Abundant Autumn paper pad. I then cut Rose cardstock using the Grid Stitched Tag die to 'bridge' the two folded sides.

The lovely images are from the Cake & Champagne stamp set and coordinating dies that I popped up onto the Grid Stitched Tag die.  To finish, I cut shiny silver cardstock with the 'cheers' word die from the Hooray & Cheers Word Duo dies and added some clear sequins for 'bubbles'.

Here's to a happy, healthy and safe New Year!  May 2020 be your best year ever!

New Year, New Resolutions

Happy New Year!  With a new year, comes thoughts of new goals, new focus, new beginnings.  You know...Resolutions.  Somewhere I read or heard that by relating a daily or frequently used object to a specific goal, you are more likely to remember to focus on that goal.  Hmmm...now what do I use on a daily or frequent basis?

Pink & Main's Crafty stamp set and coordinating dies were perfect to use to create my framed 'resolutions' and hopefully, using these crafty items will remind me to keep those resolutions this year!

I also made a card that I can keep in my planner as a more 'portable' reminder :)  I first layered pink and black cardstock onto the card base.  Then cut watercolor paper with one of the Stitched Rectangles Set #2 dies, sponged ink across the center and splattered with black ink.  Each of these darling images from the Crafty stamp set were copic colored then cut with coordinating dies and arranged on the card.  The sentiment, also from this set, is one of my favorites!

Hope you keep to your resolutions and make this an awesome New Year!

Reverse Confetti January Countdown to Confetti - Day One

Happy New Year!!  Can you think of a better way to celebrate the new year than with a new Reverse Confetti release?!  Me neither :)  You are going to love the January release - 5 stamp sets, 6 dies and a beautiful pattern paper pad

You'll want to see what the Design Team is sharing with you today!  Leave a comment on each designer's sneak peek posts (link list below) by noon CST on the 7th for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Visit our Facebook page for another chance to win a $15 gift certificate! Winners will be announced at 5pm CST on January 7th on the Reverse Confetti blog and Facebook page.

Let's get to today's sneak peeks!  My first project is for all those sweeties in your life.  The Clear Treat Box fits all sorts of goodies! I added a topper made with the Box Wrap die and new Forever My Love pattern paper, finishing with one of the new Heart Filled Sentiments stamped on the larger Tag Duo die and tied with Cappuccino Twine.

For the coordinating card, I used several pretty designs from the new Forever My Love pattern paper pad and cut shiny gold cardstock using the Wonky Scallop die.  The 'tag' was created using one of the Pierced Round Top Layered dies and another design from new new paper pad.  The sweet row of hearts is from Love Note Confetti Cuts.

Now for my next sneek peak...

The new year also brings new things to celebrate: graduations, promotions, new homes, births, weddings, etc.  The new release contains the perfect products to commemorate those special occasions!

First using several yummy designs from the new Forever My Love paper pad, I cut Stone cardstock using the new Congrats Square Panel and then stamped one of the Congratulations sentiments on the die cut.  Every celebration needs confetti and balloons and the new Congratulations stamp set and coordinating dies definitely does the trick!

Check out the incredible projects the rest of the Design Team is sharing today...

2018 - Time To Soar!

Happy 2018!  Like so many others, a new year brings thoughts of fresh starts. I have a few of those, too and my card today is a reminder to not just try, but to succeed!

Today is also a new start at STAMPlorations - it's the January CUTplorations challenge!   You can find all the details here

For my card, I used distress oxide inks to create the background which was inspired by the above photo.   I cut black cardstock using the Flutter Zen 1 Layering dies and then stamped the Soar-Say It Big Series sentiment.

Blessings for a happy, healthy New Year -- I hope you soar!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!

In just a few hours, we'll be saying goodbye to 2015 and ringing in the New Year!  As is typical, this is a time to reflect on the past year.  My daughter just mentioned that this was a long year for her because so much has happened:  her first Spring Break (or any time) away from home, high school graduation, moving away to college...

For me and my husband, we shared in all those wonderful events for our daughter in one way shape or form, too!  We've been blessed and all in all it was a very good year!

But I've never been good at looking back for too long.  I'd rather look ahead at the promise of a fresh, new year.  I have some resolutions as I'm sure you do as well (and Santa brought me a brand new planner to help me keep track!).  I'm going to work on taking better care of my health,  keeping a blessings journal every day and being kinder by keeping things in perspective.  Maybe not earth-shattering, but things that will make positive impacts in my life - and perhaps in the lives of those around me, too.

So as we head into a brand, new year, I pray that God bless you and those you care about today and all through 2016!
