Let's Go To The Beach!

I'm swooning over Pink & Main's newest release!! It's packed with SO MANY incredible stamps, dies, stencils and more!! Today I'm sharing several projects using several of the new products....

For this set of cards, I used the new Floral Shells Stamp Set and coordinating dies which I colored with Copics and set on different colored cardstock cut from Stitched Circle Dies. I added a bit of shimmer on the shell images (a bit difficult to see in the photos though). For the background, I used the new Nautilus Stencil and a pearl paste. The sentiments are all from the set which I gold embossed and used the Large Sentiment Strip Die to cut out.

Last Days of Summer

Sigh!  The last days of summer are here and although I enjoy fall, I love summer and am sad to see summer coming to an end.  Both of my cards today capture one of my favorite places...the beach!

Making Waves

Pink & Main is certainly 'making waves' with the newest release...fun, adorable and fabulous waves! Today I'm sharing two cards from this wonderful release.

For this card, I created a watercolor background using the new Catch a Wave Embossing Folder. These super cute underwater images and sentiment are from the new Be A Mermaid stamp set and coordinating dies.

For my next card, I created a slimline using the Stitched Slimline Dies for the base and made the circles using the new Circle Spotlights 1 stencil with a Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush. The pretty pineapple images and sentiment are from the new Sweet Friend stamp set and coordinating dies.

Peace on the Beach

It's a dream of mine...to retire to the beach and live in a small, cozy cottage looking out over the ocean. Home Sweet Home!  I grew up near the water and trips to the beach were common.  We'd leave early in the morning and leave as the sun was setting.  Everything was just better there (even the sandwiches and fresh iced tea we'd bring along).  I loved the smell of the salt air, seagulls squawking above, kids laughing, the sound of ocean waves. I think those are my most favorite memories!

For my card, I began creating a sky and sand background with distress oxide inks.  Using one of the house stamps in Holiday Gnomes, I white embossed on Lead and Stormy cardstock to create a row of beach houses.  The gulls, rope and reeds are from the new Let's Shellabrate stamp set and coordinating dies.  To finish, I added the sun and clouds from the Sun 'n Clouds die set and stamped one of the sentiments from Sentimental Sayings.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration...

Yay For Summer

I do love summer!  The weather has been lovely - warm, but no humidity and there's a more relaxed feel around town.  Although I'd much rather be at beach, hanging out on the patio in the evenings to listen to the birds and enjoy how green things are makes me happy.

Another thing that makes me happy is Pink & Main's June Release!

For my card, I cut white cardstock using one of the Stitched Rectangle Set 1 dies and blended different blue and green ink using the new Mermaid Tail Stencil to create a background and adhered to the card base.

How fun are the new Summer Wreath Decor dies?!!  I created 'bubbles' with the smaller of the new Reverse Scallop Circle dies and placing vellum behind.  Then I placed each of the Summer Wreath Decor die cuts in the circles.  To finish, I used the 'hello' die from the Wreath Base Dies set.

Pink & Main June Release - It's Finstastic!

Yippee!!  Pink & Main's June Release is here and it's FIN-tastic!

The new release has 4 super summer fun stamp sets with coordinating dies, 3 new Reverse Scallop shape dies, a new Summer Decor die set to coordinate with the Wreath Base die, a perfect stencil to coordinate with the release and check out the new The Shore paper pad - wow!

For my card, I created a watercolor background using Color Burst powders.  I stamped, cut and copic colored the fish, plant, and shell images from the new Fintastic stamp set and coordinating dies then added a few sequins.

Using one of the new Reverse Scallop Rectangle die, I cut navy blue cardstock and placed a piece of acetate behind it.  I then 'popped up' the frame and placed it on top of the ocean scene.  It's hard to see in the pictures, but the card looks like the fish are in an aquarium.

Be sure to follow Pink & Main via email/blog, Facebook and/or Instagram so you won't miss any projects the design team shares...not to mention, you'll be among the first to hear about deals and specials!
