Saturday Coffee Cafe - It's Pumpkin Spice Season!

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Cafe!  I'm thrilled you stopped in to see what's brewin'...

The weather has turned a bit cooler this week -- Fall is here!  And so is pumpkin spice season!

For my card, I layered some glitter cardstock to the card base.  I then used Miss Ink Stamps Latte Love Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Antique Linen, Spiced Marmalade Orange and Walnut Stain to create the background.

This ADORABLE image and sentiment are from Miss Ink Stamps Pumpkin Spice Latte set.  I adhered brown cardstock to the back of the cut image and fussy cut a 'shadow'.

Thankful for Fall

Today it actually felt like fall!  Although overcast, the temps dropped to 60s with no humidity -- it actually felt great!  I do enjoy autumn and I LOVE the colors of the season...and the stamps I get to use :)

For my card, I used several products from Reverse Confetti.  I started by layering Tangerine cardstock to the card base.  Using the new Criss Cross Cover Panel, I cut Dark Roast cardstock and layered it on top.  The tag was made with the Topped Off Tag Confetti Cuts that I cut Sand cardstock and a pattern from the Autumn Abundance paper pad; placing a strip at the top and bottom.  One of my favorite wreath dies is the Wreath Confetti Cuts which was cut from shiny gold cardstock and attached to the tag with natural twine.

For the pumpkin, I used the Pumpkin Patch Confetti Cuts and cut Stone cardstock.  I ran the die cut piece through my Big Shot with the Woodgrain Panel to give it texture and then smudged some white paint into the 'grain'.  The 'thanks' word cut die is from the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts set.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration!

Latte Pumpkin Patch

Happy Saturday and welcome to the cafe -- I'm so glad you stopped by!

What could be better than a Latte Pumpkin Patch on a beautiful fall day?!  Maybe a bonfire and cozy blanket to wrap up in...while enjoying a yummy pumpkin latte (or eggnog latte, my personal favorite!)

For my card, I sponged some Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink on the top base then layered a strip of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Petite Fall.   All the images and leaves are from Lawn Fawn:

So Thankful (pumpkins)
Love You A Latte (coffee cup)

And the cute sentiment is from Newton's Nook Autumn Newton stamp set.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

It's September and you know what that means...it's Pumpkin Spice time!  But before I get to that, there is still time to take advantage of Pink & Main's huge Labor Day Sale!!

Ok, now back to Pumpkin Spice time.  Did you know that over 350 million Starbucks Pumpkin Spice lattes have been sold to date?!  That's amazing to me!  Know what else is pretty amazing?  This awesome new Pumpkin Spice set at Pink & Main!!

For my card, I layered brown cardstock and a design from the Take Flight paper pad to the card base.  I used distress oxide inks on white cardstock and cut the banner using one of the Large Fishtail Banner Dies.  From dark brown cardstock, I cut a tag using one of the Arch Tag Dies.  The two coffee images from the Pumpkin Spice set were gold embossed, copic colored and cut with the coordinating dies.  I then added the sentiment, also from Pumpkin Spice!

For my card, I layered a burgundy cardstock onto the card base then a pattern design from the Take Flight paper pad.  I then layered burgundy cardstock and a sponged piece using the new Stitched Top Note dies.  The darling images and sentiment are from the new
