Storybook Wishes

Get ready for This Calls For Confetti’s NEWEST collection:   Let’s Celebrate.  It’s filled with some lovely dies, ephemera and an embossing folder to create something special for those memorable occasions like weddings, birthdays, showers, anniversaries – even proms!

For my card:

1) On dark gray cardstock, I cut several of the larger bricks in the Windowscapes Storybook Arch from a stone-colored cardstock and staggered them around the top and sides of the card to look like a brick wall.

2) Again, using the Windowscapes Story Book Arch, I cut the bricks from stone-colored (and 2 from dark gray) cardstock and adhered them to the arch.

3) I adhered one of the Under The Lanterns ephemera panels to the back of the arch die cut.

4) Using 3D foam strips, I adhered the arch to the card base.

5) To finish, I added the sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments stamp/die set

I [Heart] You!

It's Day Two of Kat Scrappiness' January Release!  Be sure to stop by the Kat Scrappiness blog to see all the fabulous reveal projects from the Design Team and a chance to win prizes!

My first card (above) features the new Floral Heart die -- isn't it beautiful?! I added small glittery sequins from the Be Mine sequin mix to the flowers on the die cut.  The 'love' word diecut is from the I Love You Shadow die and the sentiment is from the Say It With Hearts set.

My second card features the fabulous Valentine's Day Word Search die.  How fun is this?!!  I poked out a few of the letters to say "XO U Are Cute" and placed red glitter cardstock behind the openings.  The sweet little owl is from the Merry Critters set and the heart embellies are Red Heart Sprinkles.

Love Is In The Air with Divinity Designs

If you haven't seen the newest Divinity Designs release, you're in for a real treat!!

My card features the new Triple Step with Layers Card Dies which creates an extra special card base giving lots of dimension and a simple way to create a scene! The adorable images are from the new Somebunny Stamp/Die Duo.  I just LOVE these sweet bunnies!

To complete this gift ensemble, I used the new Sweethearts Collection Paper Pad and Candy Carrier dies to create this darling little chocolate nugget carrier!  The new Mini Tag dies add the perfect touch.

Happily Ever After

Hey, there, Pink & Main fans!  Hope you've been enjoying the May Release projects the Design Team has been sharing - it's such an awesome release and the set I'm highlighting today is perfect for those weddings and anniversaries you may have coming up!

For my card, I first layered a light pink cardstock to the card base then half-layered a pattern paper from the beautiful Watercolor Foil paper pad.  Using one of the Stitched Top Note dies, I cut white cardstock as a backdrop for these gorgeous images from the Happily Ever After stamp set and coordinating dies. I used a gold pen to fill in some of the small circle images and covered with glaze to make them shiny and raised up.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment from this set and added Rose Gold Glossy Dots.

Reverse Confetti May Release Day and Blog Hop!

Today's the day -- the Reverse Confetti May Release is here and we have a super fun blog hop with the Design Team, Fetti Friends and special guests to celebrate the release and Reverse Confetti's 6th Birthday!!!

For my card today, I layered several strips of papers from the new Sweet Stripes paper pad onto the card base.  Using the new Split Circles Cover Panel, I cut Midnight cardstock and layered it on top of the paper strips.  Then, I cut gold cardstock using one of the Lacy Scallop Circle dies and placed Iced Aqua cardstock behind the opening.  The sweet little tiger is from the new Party Animals stamp set and coordinating dies.  The 'celebrate' circling the image is from the new Party & Celebrate dies!

Hope you're as excited as I am about this month's release!!  Here are the other cards I created with these awesome new goodies...
