You're Amazing

Do you know someone who is amazing?  I'm certain you do!  Why not let them know how special you think they are?!  Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has fabulous sets to use to create the most uplifting, positive message projects!

For my card, I created a mixed media background using Distress Oxide Inks and splattered with watered down black paint. The image is from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set - which also comes in a bundle with the coordinating die.  The sentiment is from My Thoughts of You stamp set.

Just A Note

There is SO much to love about Pink & Main's newest release!! Wonderful image stamp sets with coordinating dies, bold stand-alone word dies, new embellishments, awesome sentiment stamps, plus a fabulous cover die and embossing folder!!!

For my slimline card, I layered green cardstock to the card base then layered on black cardstock cut with the Plaid Slimline Die. I used the new Just A Note word die to cut shiny gold cardstock for the words and vellum for the shadow. These lovely, delicate florals are from the new YOU stamps and coordinating dies. To finish, I added several Sparkle Gems for a special little touch.

But that's not all! The new sentiment stamps (there are 6 different sets) are perfect for the inside of a card as well as the outside! I LOVE that! I used one of the sentiments in the KSue Friendship 1 set and added one of the florals from the YOU Stamp Set.

Simply Amazing

As I post this, we have snow on the ground...snow! Our flowers and trees had begun to bloom, but it looks like their growth is going to need to wait a few days. Thankfully, the roses were in full bloom in my craft room!!

For my card, I used several NEW goodies from Pink & Main's April Release!! I layered dark raspberry cardstock to the card base. I then cut white cardstock using the new CONCAVE RECTANGLES DIES and added texture using the new ROSE GARDEN EMBOSSING FOLDER before adhering the piece to the card. These gorgeous blooms are from the new ROSES stamp set with coordinating dies which I copic colored. The sentiment is also from the set. To finish, I added several pretty embellishments from the new STARLIGHT GEMS!

Better Together

It IS better when we're together with family and friends!   This last year has been difficult with people being unable to get together and visit.  Even us introverts are starting to miss being around people!  The one thing we do know is that we are better together and we figure out ways to connect.

Reverse Confetti and Hero Arts recent collaboration on the Better Together set just goes to show how incredible things can happen when we team up towards a common interest.

Join the Reverse Confetti & Hero Arts hop to get all the details on this fabulous set and to be inspired by the incredible creations from the Design Teams!  We are giving away $50 gift cards to TWO lucky winners, drawn from comments left across the blog hop. One gift code will be to the Hero Arts store, and the other to Reverse Confetti. Comment on the hop by Thursday, February 25th at 11:59pm pst. The more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances to win!

For my card, I cut Premier Polar White cardstock with the Squared Off Cover Panel and adhered it to the card base.  This sweet elephant and mouse from the Coffee & You set are showing off the delightful flowers created with the Better Together set!  To finish, I gold embossed one of the sentiments in this new set on to Dark Roast cardstock.

Blessed To Have Friends Like You

It's the season of giving Thanks!  This one is for all my crafty friends out there.  We may know each other personally, we may know each other online and have never met, or we may not even know each other yet we have a love of crafting together.   You are all my crafty soul sisters (and brothers) and I'm so thankful for you!!

My card today features several fabulous goodies from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!  To create the wood background and tree slice backdrop, I used the Wood Backgrounds set.  These darling forest creatures and other images are all from the Fur-ever Friends set which is great for Fall themed projects, but will work very well for holiday projects too!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has awesome sales this weekend...check it out!!

Divinity Designs September Release

September is here...and so is Divinity Designs new September Release!!  You'll love the new layering dies, slimline dies, slimline paper and stamp sets now available!

My first card reminds me of the soft transition from summer to fall; still warm enough to see butterflies, but getting cool in the evening and some trees are starting to change color!

The products used in the first card:

For my next card, I wanted to create a vintage feel by using rich, deep colors which I thought went well with the new floral stamps and butterfly die  The products I used...

Concord & 9th Woodland Turnabout and Leafy Layers

Have you seen the Concord & 9th August Release?!  It's totally fabulous and I'm so thrilled to be one of this month's Guest Designers to share it with you!  Today my cards feature the new Woodland Turnabout stamp (LOVE those turnabouts!), coordinating Woodland Dies and Leafy Layers Dies.

For this set of cards, I went with traditional fall colors using the following Concord & 9th inks and cardstock:  Marmalade, Buttercup, Sprout and Wheat.

For the first card, I created a panel using the new Woodland Turnabout stamp.  The center sentiment is from the Lots of Thoughts set (which is FREE with the purchase of the August Release Bundle!).  I then added the die cut leaves using the new Leafy Layers Dies.

The second card is a simple CAS card using the Leafy Layers Dies which also comes with two word panel dies.

I love how traditional 'baby colors' have become more neutral over the last few years!  I used Sea Glass, Mushroom, Ballet Slippers and Midnight inks and cardstock on these two cards.  The Woodland Turnabout stamp has adorable images for a baby card plus several big word stamps to use as a focal point.  The coordinating dies cut out several of the images plus there's a wonderful pierced square die in the set!

I love this color combo of Poppy, Ballet Slippers, Stardust and Mushroom!  On the first card, I created a full background using the Woodland Turnabout and created a focal point using the word stamps in the set.

For the second card, I created another Woodland Turnabout background and used both of the square frames that come in the coordinating die set to cut out the squares.  Love the bold word stamps and coordinating sentiments that come in the Woodland Turnabout set!

Hello Friend!

Hello Friend! The Pink & Main January release is truly awesome and filled with wonderful goodies that I can't stop playing with because there are so many options!

For my card, I card dark brown cardstock using one of the Postage dies.  I used the new Floral Corners Dies and inlaid die technique to 'color' in the image.  Both sentiments are from the new Spring Sentiments set.  The 'Hello Friend' was gold embossed and I stamped then cut the other sentiment using one of the Sentiment Strip dies!
