Saturday Coffee Cafe - Coffee & Crafts

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Saturday Coffee Cafe!  I'm so glad you stopped in to see what's brewing!

Coffee, Crafts & Gnomes...yep, these are a few of my most favorite things!! I was so excited to put this card together - it just makes me happy :)

For my card, I used a pattern from PhotoPlay Crafting With My Gnomies paper pad for the background.  The lime green backdrop for the images was cut using Pink & Main Concave Rectangles Dies. These adorable gnome images are from Unity Stamps Coffee, Gnomes & You set!  This fun sentiment is from SugarPea Designs Color of Life stamp set and the little scissor and glue dies are from Taylored Expressions.

Bold Butterfly Friend

Summer has officially begun!  I've so enjoyed hearing all the birds singing, trees/flowers in full bloom and catching a glimpse at a beautiful butterfly or two!

For my card, I stamped this wonderful image (and sentiment) from the Dearest Friend stamp set and colored it with Karin Brushmarkers.  To finish, I edged the card with brown ink and added a few Crystal Gems.  Super easy card, but so much fun to pull together!

Celebrate Summer

Summer has begun -- let's celebrate or 'shell'abrate as the case may be!  I would really like to be sitting on a beach right now, but alas, the closest I could get was creating this card!

For my slimline card, I first layered kraft cardstock onto the card base. The background was created by smooshing some distress oxide ink and edging it with a light blue oxide ink.  These wonderful shells from Papertrey Ink Summer Shell Dies were also smooshed with different colors of oxide ink and spritzed with water.

The sentiment was gold embossed on vellum using the Perfect Pairs Essentials stamp set and coordinating dies.

Reverse Confetti February Creative Hop!

Today is Reverse Confetti's February Creative Hop!  Wait til you see the fabulous creations our Design Team and and special 'Fetti Friends are sharing!!

During a recent clean up of my craft room, I came across this little white plastic frame stand that I picked up at IKEA a long time ago.  I've been wanting to make a fun desk calendar and this frame was perfect for it!

I created a colored  'card' for each month and used different Cover Panels (see details below) for the backgrounds then double-punched the top of the cards.  I found a calendar template online which I simply printed out and cut up to place on the scallop rectangle in the Love Note Confetti Cuts set  backdrop.  To hang the cards, I used ring clamps that fits through the holes of the cards which then could be hung from the top of frame.

Products used for each calendar card are listed below the next photo.  LINKS to all products can be found in the LinkDeli list at the bottom.

In The Meadow

Merry Christmas!!  I'm thrilled to be Trinity Stamps guest designer today...what a special gift!  It's been such a pleasure to share my projects created with Trinity Stamps' adorable products this month!!  Thank you, Teniesa and Amanda !

For this slimline card, I first layered a pattern from the Black & White Patterns Slimline Paper Pad onto a light blue card base.  I then cut silver glitter cardstock with the Hip To Be Square Slimline Die for the backdrop.  The DARLING Slimline Series Happy Snowman Dies were super fun to put together -- and there are a variety of ways to use these dies to create different snowmen, too!

To finish, I cut deep red cardstock using the Noel Word Die Set and added a few Vanilla Sugar Snowflakes Sprinkle Embellishments.

I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas Day and a healthy, hopeful 2021!

Christmas Cityscape

I've been having too much fun with the new Kat Scrappiness slimline dies and getting a jump on Christmas cards, too!

For my card, I cut white cardstock using one of the new Double Stitched Nesting Slimline dies to create a 'frame' and adhered to the cardbase.  Using one of the Tri-Frame Slimline Dies, I cut white cardstock then blended several distress inks using the Pink & Main Ergonomic Brush to create the sky.

The new Slimline Cityscape Dies are fabulous!  I cut Tonic Studios Mirrory Glossy Cardstock with the base die and black cardstock with the 'buildings' die. When these two pieces are layered, it looks like lights in the building windows!

The Kat Scrappiness Merry Critters stamps set is one of my favorite sets!  How cute are these sweet reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh?!  To finish the card, I added a few Light Gold Solid Stars which were so easy to apply with the Crystal Katana Dual-Tipped Pick-up Tool.

Under The Sea

I wish I could go scuba diving. I'd love to see all the wonders of the ocean!  I tried it once, but got very claustrophobic and didn't get to see much under the sea {insert sad face}.   At least I got a glimpse of it in my craft room using these two beautiful Kat Scrappiness dies!

For my card, I cut white cardstock using the Under The Sea background die -- isn't it gorgeous?!  I blended two Distress Oxide inks using the Pink & Main Ergonomic Blending Brush over the diecut then placed a piece of silver Craft Perfect Mirror Cardstock behind it.

Dolphins are such beautiful, graceful animals!  I used the Stitched Dolphins Die set to cut navy cardstock to add the dolphin silhouettes.
