Color Throwdown Challenge #503

Today starts a new Color Throwdown Challenge!  This is also the last week of my Guest Designing with CTC -- it's been sooo much fun and I'd like to thank the team for having me this month!!  Now, onto this week's challenge...

I love this color combo and was tempting to do a Christmas in July card as these colors would be perfect, but I haven't yet gotten the bug to get started on Christmas cards.  However, with a few tweaks, I think I can turn it into one - what do you think?

For my card, I used several really cute Reverse Confetti products.  I started with a piece of Lime Green cardstock which was placed behind Stormy cardstock cut from the Striped Frame Cover Panel.  For the center, I cut some Premier Polar White cardstock and stamped the envelope images and sentiment.  These adorable mice, mailbox, letters and sentiment were stamped, die cut and copic colored using the Mice Mail stamp set and coordinating dies.

I'm excited to share my card in these fun challenges, too!

Color Throwdown Challenge #502

Happy Wednesday and welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge!  The beautiful colors in this week's challenge makes me want to sit at the beach in the warm sun watching frothy waves hit the sand!  How will this week's colors inspire you?  Can't wait to see what you create!

For my card today, I chose several fav products from Reverse Confetti...

I started by creating the background using the new Striped Circle Cover Panel and placed Stormy, Navy and Baby Blue cardstock behind the openings.  The frame was created using the smalles Stitched Squares die and popped on the darling little seal, which I copic colored, from Sealiously.  The sentiment from the set was white embossed on Midnight cardstock.

I'm excited to share my card in these fun challenges, too:

Color Throwdown Challenge #501

Happy Wednesday and welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge!  I'm excited to be guest designing this month and to share this week's card with you for challenge #501...

My card features several fun images/dies from Honey Bee Stamps!  To start, I cut Reverse Confetti Stormy cardstock with My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle die.  Using Honey Bee Stamps Hexagon Bunches die, I cut Sand cardstock for the outer part of the die cut and Sunshine cardstock for the hexagon shapes.  For the jar and flowers, I used Sweet As Honey stamp set; stamping the jar and word on plaid pattern paper and the top on Stormy cardstock.  The adorable bees and flowers are from the Busy Bees stamp set.

What will YOU create?  Looking forward to seeing your card in the challenge!

I'm submitting my card into these fun challenges, too!

Color Throwdown Challenge #500

I'm so excited to have been asked by Color Throwdown to be a Guest Designer this month!  Being a big fan of this challenge, it's such an honor to be sharing a few creations and announcing the challenges for the next few weeks!  Hope you'll join in the fun!  Now, for this week's challenge:

For my card, I used some pretty Altenew products.  I started by using the Layered Plaid Cover Die B as the background.  These pretty flowers from Adore You were gold embossed, watercolored then die cut with the coordinating dies.  I gold embossed one of the sentiments from that set on to navy cardstock.  To finish, I added a few gold sequins.
Be sure to check out the awesome projects created by the Design Team for tons of inspiration...
