Lucky Me!

I'm lucky (and very blessed) to have friends of many kinds. Close friends, family friends, work friends and, of course, crafty friends! Today, I'm excited to share with my crafty friends a few sneak peeks from Pink & Main's upcoming release on March 20th!

Wait til you see the fabulous NEW goodies coming! Lots of exciting stencils large enough for slimlines, an embossing folder, glitter and hologram papers PLUS a new storage solution system for stencils, embossing folders, stamps, dies and more! You're going to LOVE IT ALL!!

For my card, I layered black cardstock to the card base. I then cut white cardstock with the larger die in the Stitched Rectangles Set 2 and using the new Deco Stencil, applied ink with the Ergonomic Blending Brush. I cut Lime Green Glitter Cardstock with one of the Layering Oval Dies and trimmed off an edge. The adorable images and sentiments are from the Lucky Gnomes stamp set and used the coordinating dies.

Be sure to check out the entire new release on March 20th!!

Spring Holidays

When we think about 'holidays', we usually think about the Fall ones.  Spring has wonderful holidays like St. Patrick's Day and Easter!  Thankfully, Pink & Main has us covered to create very fun Spring holiday projects!

Gotta love 'em gnomes!  For my first card, I blended green inks using the new Clover Stencil then blended a light green ink over that using the new Mask It Oval Stencil.  And of course, I used the fabulous Ergonomic Brush!   These super cute images are from the Lucky Gnomes stamps/dies; "hey" word was created using the new Thin Alpha Dies (love!) and the sentiment is from the Spring Sentiments stamp set and cut with one of the Sentiment Strip DiesGlossy Dots added the perfect finish.

For my next card, I laid the Easter Egg Stencil and the center square piece from the Masking Square Stencil on the card base then blended pastel inks with an Ergonomic brush.  These darling images and sentiment are from the new Easter Eggs stamps/dies.  To finish, I added a few Glossy Dots

Today's YOUR Lucky Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
My grandmother was Irish (which puts a little Irish in me too :)  Every St. Patrick's Day she'd make the traditional meal of corn beef and cabbage.  I'd like to say I looked forward to the dish, but I was not a fan (of the taste or the aroma!)

Instead of making a meal, I opted to make a card instead!

I'm featuring several fun products found in the Drive By Crafts store.  First, if you haven't tried the new Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads, you are missing out on BIG fun -- I'm in love!  I created my backgrounds using these new ink pads.   Using the heart die from Concord & 9th's Layering Leaves, I cut from a piece of cardstock that I inked up with a few colors of Distress Oxide ink pads to create a 4-leaf clover. This fab Neat & Tangled sentiment from the So Lucky set takes center stage for my card and I added a few sequins from Drive By Crafts' Green Dragon mix!

Luck o' the Irish

With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, I'm hoping it brings a little Spring luck with it!  Like many of you, warm weather can't some soon enough.  We got taunted with 30+ degrees yesterday which cleared off the streets of snow and then tonight we're getting more inches of the white stuff!

These challenges inspired me to put a little Spring (flowers) in my St. Patrick's card -- with a bit 'o gold in the bottom of the jar for luck! The doily is embossed using a Jillian Vance stamp; jar is Papertrey Ink's and the hearts (which form the shamrock) and leaves were made with Sweet Cuts from Paper Sweeties.  I added just a touch of sparkle with green glitter brads from Stampin Up.

This is a NEW challenge blog!!
