Sending Love

Have you seen the newest release from Divinity Designs (previously Our Daily Bread Designs)?!  It's pretty awesome and features two new product lines:  embossing folders and stencils!  The new stamp sets are just lovely and the two new large dies I'll be using for years to come!

For my first project, I layered red cardstock onto the card base.  For the background, I used distress oxide ink with the new Petals Mixed Media Stencil; sponging around the edges.  This beautiful bible verse from the Fruit of the Spirit set was stamped on white cardstock cut with one of the Pierced Oval dies.  The basket of apples image was copic colored and also in the Fruit of the Spirit set.

My next project features the new Festive Favors Dies.  I cut red cardstock and one of the patterns in the Ephemera Essentials paper pad using the box die then used the heart die to cut the opening.  I placed chocolate kisses in a cello bag and adhered to the box.  The pretty flowers and leaves are also included in the Festive Favors Dies.

Life Is Sweet

Divinity Designs (previously Our Daily Bread Designs) January Release is filled with awesome goodies including two new lines: embossing folders and stencils plus three new stamp sets and two large dies!

For my first project, I layered lime green cardstock to the card base then created a background using the new Petals Stencil and a mother-of-pearl embossing paste.  I then layered brown and a shimmery cardstock cut with Pierced Circle dies; stamping the sentiment onto the shimmery one.  The images and sentiment are from the new Fruit of the Spirit stamp set!

I can't get enough of Divinity Designs folded card dies and this month's release has lovely one -- and a new accessory to coordinate with it and the other folded card dies!

My next project uses the new Half Shutter Card with Layers Dies.  I cut the layers using papers from the Cozy Quilt, Ephemera Essentials and Birthday Brights paper pads.  The images and sentiment are from the new Lemon Branch stamp set (note:  I fussy cut the lemon image under the sentiment) and are stamped on cardstock cut with Pierced Oval Rectangles.

Check this out...there's a new Belly Band die that will keep multi-layered cards together!  This band would also be great to wrap several regular cards in a bundle to give as a gift!  What other ideas do you have?

 For my card, I chose some non-traditional colors, but I like the combo :)  The cup was made using Stampin Up Coffee Cafe stamp set and coordinating dies. The black oval was cut using Our Daily Bread Design Oval Pierced die and the perfect sentiment is from STAMPlorations Caffeinated Christmas sentiment set!  I used a small holly die from my stash and added Nuvo Crystal Drops to make 'berries' and added to a stir stick.

Today I'm sharing a card created with a few wonderful goodies from Our Daily Bread Design's new July release!

 

 To start, I layered pattern papers from the Birthday Brights and By The Shore paper pads cut with the Pierced Rectangle dies.  The gorgeous, embossed flowers were made with the new Hibiscus dies.  Using Pierced Oval dies to cut the layered cardstock, I then stamped the sentiment from the Aloha set over the small palm tree image from the Bon Voyage stamp set.

Our Daily Bread Designs - Guest Designer!

Today I have some exciting news!  I'm so honored to have been invited to be a guest designer for Our Daily Bread Designs for the next couple of months!!   I'm new to ODBD and am impressed with the crisp quality of their stamps and dies!

Let's get to the fun part...

The July Release is packed full of summer fun!  Today my card features the new Bon Voyage set.  For my card, I layered papers from the Birthday Brights pattern paper pad cut with the Pierced Rectangle dies.  For the image, I sponged the base with yellow, orange and red then stamped the larger palm tree image.  The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock cut from one of the Pierced Circle dies.
