Saturday Coffee Cafe - Picture Perfect

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Cafe!  I'm so glad you decided to stop by to see what's brewin' today...

One day, I'd love to frame images of all my favorite coffee/tea/cocoa cards.  I'm not sure where I'd hang them (we literally have no wall space left), but I think it would make a picture perfect caffeinated wall!

For my card, I cut two designs from Echo Park A Slice of Summer paper pad with Pink & Main Stitched Rectangle Set 1 for the base.  I then cut white cardstock from an eyelet border die I found in my stash and adhered it between the two paper designs.  The pretty coffee pot, cup and sentiment are from Jane's Doodles Brew Tea-ful set and I framed the pot with cardstock cut from MFT Stamps Stitched Rectangle Frames dies.  The lovely flowers in the cup is from another Jane's Doodles set called Fresh Cut Flowers.  To finish, I added shimmering pearls from Pink & Main Rainbow Pearls Set 2 collection.

Hope YOUR day is picture perfect...and well caffeinated!

You're TEArrific!

Welcome to the weekend and the Saturday Coffee Café.  I’m thrilled you are here because I’m sharing a little something special created just for you!

While coffee is my beverage of choice, I do occasionally enjoy relaxing with of good cup of tea!  My grandmother was an avid tea drinker which she’d always have with a few Social Tea biscuits.  She lived next door to us in the same apartment building and in the afternoons after school, I’d join her for a cup and a chat!

For my card, I layered Reverse Confetti Flamingo cardstock with two different patterns from the Pebbles Spring Fling paper pad onto the card base.  I then cut white cardstock using one of the Reverse Confetti’s Lacy Scallop Circles dies for the teacup backdrop.  These sweet teacups, macarons and sentiment are from Jane’s Doodles TEArrific stamp set.  I paper pieced the teacups using other patterns in the Pebbles Spring Fling paper pad and copic colored the teabag, macarons and hearts.  The sentiment was white embossed on Midnight black cardstock.

Hope you have a TEArrific day!
