I like pretty cups and I cannot lie! When I saw this sentiment stamp, I just had to giggle because it's SO TRUE - at least for me!

Pretty coffee cups are perfect to hold many things other than coffee!  I love using a favorite mug to hold pens, pencils, paint brushes, etc. to 'decorate' my desk.

Today's my daughter's birthday and she is an avid reader - and I'm an avid coffee drinker - so I guess this card is for both of us :)

 

For my card, I used papers from Echo Park Coffee & Friends paper pad to create the background.  These cute images are from Ellen Hudson Leading Ladies - Book Lady and the sentiment is from STAMPlorations Good Books and Coffee.

 

A Soothing Cup of Tea

 

There’s something soothing about having a cup of tea and it’s perfected when the tea is served from pretty teapot and teacups!

1.  For my card, I layered light green cardstock and a woodgrain pattern paper onto the card base.

2.  The sentiment, from Avery Elle More Sentiments stamp set, is gold embossed using Lawn Fawn Embossing & Watermark Ink Pad and LawnFawn Gold Embossing Powder.

 

3.  I cut coordinating pattern papers with LawnFawn Stitched Teapot and Lawn Fawn Stitched Teacup Dies and popped up the diecut images with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.
