Divinity Designs Vintage Country

 I've really enjoyed creating with this month's Divinity Designs release!  Each time I created a project, my mind took a lovely trip to the country - and being a city girl, it was like taking a little vacation!

 For my card, I wanted to create a country vintage theme so I used mostly browns, tans and cream colors.  First, I layered one of the patterns in the Weathered Wood paper pad and adhered to the full card base.  I then cut different cardstock using the Barn Dies and offset it on the card; the same with the Farm Fence die cut.

For the 'framed' piece, I created a frame using a couple Squares Dies cut from brown cardstock.  I cut brown cardstock using the Chicken Wire Background Die and swiped white ink across it, cut to fit the frame and layered kraft cardstock to the back of the frame.

The image and sentiment are from the Rise & Shine set which were stamped on cream cardstock and cut with the Circles Dies.  The sentiment circle was then layered with brown cardstock cut from one of the Scalloped Circles Dies.

Howdy From The Herd

Hope you've been enjoying the DT projects being shared featuring Divinity Designs new August Release!  The card I'm sharing today reminds me of a scene you might see down a country road!

 

For my card today, I began using the Side Step Card and Layers Dies.  I created the scene using the Barn Dies, Farm Friends Stamp/Die Duos, Farm Fence Die and Grass Hill Die.  The sentiment from Hogs & Kisses was stamped on black cardstock cut from one of the Ovals Dies and layered with red cardstock cut from one of the Scalloped Ovals Dies.

Have you seen Divinity Designs August Release?!  Today I'm sharing a card created with several new items that are very fun!

First, I layered a pattern from the Weathered Wood Collection paper pad onto the card base.  Using the new Chicken Wire Background Die, I cut kraft cardstock and layered it on top.  The cute animals are from the new Farm Friends Stamps/Dies Duo and I added the Farm Fence Die and Grass Hill Die to complete the scene.  The sentiment from the new Hogs & Kisses set was stamped on white cardstock cut from one of the Circles Dies and layered with paper cut from one of the Scalloped Circles Dies.

Divinity Designs August Release Day!

Divinity Designs August Release is here!  This very fun release this month takes us 'down on the farm'.

My first card features the new Z-Fold with Layers dies.  This fun 3D card base die is perfect for creating cards with a scene and adding an element of fun!  Here are the other products I used on my farm scene:

Being a city girl, it was a treat to 'go to the country' while I created these cards even if the 'country' was only in my craft room!
