Saturday Coffee Cafe - Coffee & Crafts

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Saturday Coffee Cafe!  I'm so glad you stopped in to see what's brewing!

Coffee, Crafts & Gnomes...yep, these are a few of my most favorite things!! I was so excited to put this card together - it just makes me happy :)

For my card, I used a pattern from PhotoPlay Crafting With My Gnomies paper pad for the background.  The lime green backdrop for the images was cut using Pink & Main Concave Rectangles Dies. These adorable gnome images are from Unity Stamps Coffee, Gnomes & You set!  This fun sentiment is from SugarPea Designs Color of Life stamp set and the little scissor and glue dies are from Taylored Expressions.

Crafty Rainbow

Hey, Kat Scrappiness Fans!  What could be better than a rainbow shaker card?  A crafty rainbow shaker card!

This card was totally fun to make!  I love crafty images and making shaker cards with fun shaker elements. I was actually humming as I put this card together, it just made me happy :)  I don't do this often, but this is one card that will go on display in my craft room!

For my card, I layered black cardstock to the card base then layered a pattern paper from the Honey Bee Over The Rainbow paper pad.  Before adhering the shaker, I stamped one of the sentiments in the Crafters Gonna Craft stamp set.  Using the Small Rectangle Shaker Card Kit, I added Rainbow Wheel Sprinkles and Silver Scissor Sequins then covered the back with yellow cardstock (trimmed to the edges of the rectangle) and adhered to the card.

The markers and scissors are images in the Crafters Gonna Craft stamp set which I colored and popped up on the card.

I ADORE Crafty Critters!!  These darling critters and I share the same passion for crafting and even their tools are the cutest ever!

For each of these three cards, I used the new Oh My Heart Cover Panel for the background and See Through Tag die as the backdrop for the Crafty Critters images.

Too much cuteness, right?!  Hang on, because there's more...

The new Flowers For a Friend set has incredibly sweet images including a darling flower cart!  I also used Sun 'n Clouds to complete the scene.

And last, but certainly not least...

Cheerful Pals is a wonderful set for kids of any age!  I used one of the pattern papers from the new Sweet as Sugar pad and used the smaller Stitched Squares dies as a background for the adorable images.

Tomorrow is release day!!  For today, be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's projects and comment for a chance to win!

Get Crafty!

Crafting makes everything better!  This awesome Crafty Notes stamp set by Gina K Designs makes my heart happy because it contains images of all the crafty tools I love to play with!

For my first card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then cut circles from Lawn Fawn White cardstock using Waffle Flower Stitched Nesting Circles dies; offsetting the die cuts.  I stamped and copic colored the craft images popping them up on and around the circle die cuts.  I then stamped the images using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad.

For my second card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then layered on a piece of Lawn Fawn White cardstock and blended some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink with the Mini Ink Blending Tool.  I stamped and copic colored several of the Crafty Notes images and arranged them.  To finish, I stamped the sentiment (my mantra!) with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad.
