During a recent clean up of my craft room, I came across this little white plastic frame stand that I picked up at IKEA a long time ago.  I've been wanting to make a fun desk calendar and this frame was perfect for it!

 

I created a colored  'card' for each month and used different Cover Panels (see details below) for the backgrounds then double-punched the top of the cards.  I found a calendar template online which I simply printed out and cut up to place on the scallop rectangle in the Love Note Confetti Cuts set  backdrop.  To hang the cards, I used ring clamps that fits through the holes of the cards which then could be hung from the top of frame.

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #252 - Inspiration Photo

 Welcome to a new Merry Monday Christmas Card challenge!  I'm excited to be this week's hostess and my challenge is to create a Christmas card using the photo below as your inspiration!  Maybe the colors will inspire you or the elements that catch your eye :)  Can't wait to see how YOU interpret the photo!

 For my card, I was inspired by the tiered decor piece and loved all the pretty Christmas decorations.  I used a couple Papertrey Ink stamp sets and dies:  Spruce & Sprigs and Holiday Greens.  The sentiment is from and old My Favorite Things set Cheerful Christmas Greetings and the little jar is Memory Box Small Canning Jar die.

Paper Sweeties April Plan Your Life Series!

 For Christmas I got a new planner from Santa!  I was so excited because I had wanted one to use just for my crafting.  Being on a few Design Teams, selling cards, having a full time job which requires travel, and keeping up with household chores,  I really need to plan to keep all the plates spinning!  

Of course, I wanted it to look fun, but hadn't done much in the way of decorating it until I started using Paper Sweeties' the Plan Your Life Series stamps!!  Debbie has created the most adorable images and perfect words for any planner/calendar and there are also blank digital calendar pages available!  It was so much fun - and easy - to decorate my planner and now I look forward to planning all my monthly activities!
