Out of This World Birthday

 One of my craft goals/resolutions is to try new things.  This is my very first 'galaxy' background and it was not only pretty easy to do, it was a very fun technique!  I'm also using a new-to-me stamp set -- so happy to be using my stash, too!   And to top it off, Netflix was running Apollo 13 (one of my favorite movies) while I made this! How ironic is that?!



 For my card, I embossed the base with a stars embossing folder.  I created the galaxy/sky background with distress oxide inks then colored and fussy cut this sweet little astronaut from My Favorite Things Space Explorer set.  The sentiment from this set is white embossed.
