Out of This World Birthday

 One of my craft goals/resolutions is to try new things.  This is my very first 'galaxy' background and it was not only pretty easy to do, it was a very fun technique!  I'm also using a new-to-me stamp set -- so happy to be using my stash, too!   And to top it off, Netflix was running Apollo 13 (one of my favorite movies) while I made this! How ironic is that?!



 For my card, I embossed the base with a stars embossing folder.  I created the galaxy/sky background with distress oxide inks then colored and fussy cut this sweet little astronaut from My Favorite Things Space Explorer set.  The sentiment from this set is white embossed.

    Your card is 'space-tacular', Kathy! Stunning background; a perfect galaxy for your sweet astronaut, Saturn and balloons! Apollo 13 is one of my favourite movies, too! So thrilled to see you in the JUGS gallery with this gem!
