Guest Designer! Just Us Girls Challenge #362 - Inspiration Photo

Welcome to this week's Just Us Girls challenge!  This is my last Guest Designer post, but certainly not the last JUG challenge I'll play in (just love their challenges!!)  It's been a wonderful month and I want to thank each and every DT member for this lovely opportunity!  Thank you, too, for the fabulous inspiration you bring us each week!

Now, on to this week's Inspiration Photo challenge:

 

 Fall is in full swing and the gateway to so many fun holidays over the next few months!!  For my card I chose these pretty images from STAMPlorations:  Holiday Expressions Thankful For Autumn and Happy Sunflower.  Then, added the burlap trim and tag with sentiment.

Guest Designer! Just Us Girls Challenge #361 - Color

 It's time for a brand new Just Us Girls challenge!!   I've been having a blast Guest Designing this month and so grateful for the opportunity!!

 This is color week and what a great color combo the team is inviting you to use:

 

My card started with this pretty Cuttlebug Anna Griffin Matelasse embossing folder.  I then added Papertrey Ink's Basic Bookmark 3 die cut as a backdrop for these pretty Altenew Wild Hibiscus flowers that I Copic colored and added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the centers.

Guest Designer! Just Us Girls Challenge #360 - Sequins

 Welcome to a new Just Us Girls Challenge!  I'm super excited to be joining this wonderfully talented Design Team as this month's Guest Designer!!

This week's challenge is to create a project using SEQUINS!

 

 For my card, I started with Papertrey Ink's Confetti Toss set for the background.  The shaker was created with My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle frame die and filled it with images from Mama Elephant's Carnival Cupcakes and a sequin mix from Simon Says Stamp.  I finished with the "sprinkles" word die from Papertrey Ink's Shaker & Sprinkles Make it Market kit.

Guest Designer! Just Us Girls Challenge #359 - Travel

 Wow -- I was so thrilled and honored to be asked to be this month's Just Us Girls Challenge Guest Designer!!  Thank you, girls!!

This week's challenge invites you to create a project using TRAVEL words.

 

  

For my card I selected images from two wonderful STAMPlorations sets:  True North and Bold Sentiments Journey.  I used a map and waves embossing folders to create the background and added the ship wheel die cut from cork.

You're Amazing!

While I'm enjoying our beautiful summer weather (no humidity -- wonderful!!), I do LOVE the colors of autumn!  I've been wanting to play with these stamps from Stamplorations and found an "excuse" - yeah for challenges! Paper piecing is too fun and I got out some translucent paste and added a little dimension to my card.

Just Us Girls Challenge #290 - Inspiration Photo Week - Guest Designer

Sigh - This is the last week I'll be Guest Designer at Just Us Girls Challenge.
  I've had so much fun and am so grateful to the Design Team for having me!  Would you help me celebrate by playing this week?  The challenge this week is truly a beautiful one - it's a Photo Inspiration challenge!! 

I was inspired by the colorful tulips!  I used the following dies:

Impression Obsession:  wheel barrow and tulips

Papertrey Ink: Fence & "hello" word (cut from cork)

Paper Smooches: clouds

  The grass was made the old fashioned way: taking a strip of cardstock and using a shredding scissor :)

Just Us Girls Challenge #288 - Trend Week - Guest Designer

It's amazing that we are half way through April already...it's just buzzing by.  Ok, sorry for the pun, but it's been a long week and I think I'm a little slap-happy!

What IS making me VERY happy is that it's time for a brand new weekly Just Us Girls challenge!  It's been such an honor to be this month's Guest Designer and I welcome you to join the fun this week!  The challenge is to create a shaker card! 

Shakers, sequins, confetti have been such a rage and so much fun!  For my card, I used a new set I purchased from Simon Says Stamps: Friendship Circles stamp set and My Favorite Things STAX Stitched circles dies.  It's hard to see, but I added glitter to the bees' wings with glossy glaze.  For my shaker filler, I used some Paper Sweeties sequins along with some micro beads I found in my stash!

Just Us Girls Challenge #287 - Word Week - Guest Desinger

Imagine my delight and excitement (and, ok, shock!) when Vicki and her team invited me to be the April Guest Designer at Just Us Girls Challenge Blog!!!  I'm beyond honored and absolutely thrilled!  I've loved playing in these challenges when I can and have been so inspired by their Design Team - such talented ladies.  To say I'm humbled is an understatement!

Ok, enough about me...let's get on to this week's Just Us Girls challenge!

SPRING - It's definitely worth celebrating!  I used a new stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink: Bitty Bouquets and Modern Cross Quilt background Die also from Papertrey Ink.  The butterflies were cut using a Martha Stewart punch.
