When I was a kid, we had a fish tank with lots of colorful fish. I'll be honest...I didn't want it, but my dad insisted and said it would be fun to watch them and care for them. The one thing I did discover was how calming it was to watch them in their water world...just doing their thing being fish :) Putting this card together brought back that memory and believe it or not, it brought me some calm.
For my card, I layered pattern paper to create the background. I then stamped and diecut the fishbowl using vellum. I placed the plants and shells images behind the vellum, but placed the colored fish over it to show off their pretty colors. All images and sentiment are from the Fintastic stamp set and coordinating dies.

Using the vellum makes for such a great looking fish bowl. I love your fintastic card.

DeleteSo cute! My goodness I miss my fish. Your Dad was right; a good learning tool, taking care of fish. I remember having to put the drops in the fishbowl to make sure the water was okay for the goldfish and feeding him every night and cleaning the poop out! I like your card and it brings back some great memories!
