To commemorate being part of this super fun hop, I created a summery coffee card...and a sneak peek of something included in the upcoming release!
For my card, I first layered kraft cardstock onto the card base. I found this sweet sand pail and shovel pattern paper in my stash which just goes to justify hoarding pattern paper...you never know when something in that stash will be the perfect pattern to go with something you want to create!
Next, I cut thin cork to be the backdrop for this summery coffee cup created with Kat Scrappiness Layered Coffee Cup Die. And the stamped images...Summer Gnomes and Summer Gnomes Add-on stamp sets being released 5/28!

ReplyDeleteYay! I love beach themed coffee card! <3 I hear ya. I recently used, probably 15 years old paper on my card!! That was the time when those special papers became very popular.. . I couldn't use them at first, like for many years because I felt "cheating", me being a 30+ stamper who's always made my paper.. But you know, they always look so pretty and can't help buying more & more when you are in the store, not because we need them! LOL! Love the color combo of the lid to match the paper, too! <3
