Hello Blooms

Happy Monday!  A couple weeks ago after a lot of rain and warmer temps, I could have sworn I saw the tips of blooms coming through the ground...alas, today it's snowing so I guess spring is still a bit of a ways off.  At least there is some spring in my craft room!

For my card, I created a background by sponging Antique Linen distress oxide ink using the Reverse Confetti Pointed Out Stencil then stamped the leaves from the Tall Blooms set in Stone ink.

Using the Dashed Line Tag die cut from Midnight cardstock as a backdrop, I layered on images from the Tall Blooms set that are copic colored.  To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the same set and added a few clear sequins.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration:

  6. This is absolutely gorgeous! So blessed that you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and would like to invite you again to link with us at the new challenge that started today. Leaving you with God's Word in 1 John 2:15-17 which says, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." Have a blessed and wonderful week.
