Cool Penguin Friends


The temps this week have been really cold and a bit snowy.  Brrr!  I'm definitely not a winter person, but do enjoy creating winter cards - especially with these little guys :)

For my card, I first layered Stormy cardstock onto the card base then a pattern from Reverse Confetti's Winter Solstice paper pad.  For the scene background, I cut Premier Polar White cardstock using one of the Lacy Scallop Frame dies and masked off the edges in order to blend blue distress oxide ink in the center then cut glittery cardstock for the 'snow'.  The cute little penguins are from the Love You S'more set and the hanging tassels are from Happy Winter.  I stamped a sentiment from the Cool Friend set.
