STAMPlorations February Challenge

Hello STAMPlorations friends! Where did January go, eh? A big thank you to all who played along with us in our January challenges. Check back on February 10 to see if you are one of our winners. And get ready for a whole lot of fabulous new products to be appearing in the next three months! But we also want you to know that for the next couple months we are going to do things a bit differently.

You’ve probably heard that Mrs STAMPlorations, Shery Russ, welcomed a daughter named “Winter” to the family in December. In order to give Shery a little time to catch her breath after giving birth and to adjust to daily life with two little ones in addition to running the store, we are going to take a little “Winter” break!

Rather than all of our normal monthly challenges, there will be just one challenge for you to join each month. The monthly challenge will have a theme and as long as you follow the theme, any type of project is welcome! Then we’ll return to our regular programming in May.

Here are the simple rules for the challenge:

*You may create any type of project -- cards (any style), mixed media, tags, layout, etc -- as long as it follows our theme

*STAMPlorations product is not required though we’d love to see it

*You may enter as many times as you want – as long as each project has its own blog post

*You must display the challenge graphic + link back to the challenge page to qualify for the prizes

*You must comment on the entry before yours in the gallery – lets spread the love

*For an extra chance, comment on the challenge post and the designers’ blog posts throughout the month

Prizes:

*TWO (2) winners of a $25 gift certificate - randomly drawn from all entries

*ONE (1) winner of a $25 gift certificate - randomly drawn from all comments left on the designers' blogs throughout the month

Shery is offering a generous 10% (no coupon code needed) off all stamps, stencils, and dies in the store from February through April.

For my card, I made a heart panel using Hearts All Over Mini stencil and distress oxide inks. I cut some pink polka dot pattern paper with one of the Curly Labels/Tags Nesting Dies and layered on images from A Cuppa Love set.  The sentiment, from that set, was stamped on one of the smaller Tags #1 Nesting dies.

I'm excited to submit my card with these challenges, too!

Come join the fun and Paint It Red with us!  The challenge runs til the end of February and winners are announced the following week.  I can't wait to see what YOU create!!
