Reverse Confetti February Blog Hop!

Reverse Confetti's Valentine Blog Hop is today and the Design Team is sharing a lotta LOVE with you!  Be sure to check out the wonderful inspiration by stopping by at each of the DT blogs -- and give 'em a little love back!

Kathy Schweinfurth You Are Here

And, ‘Fetti Friends...

Who couldn't use a cute notepad - especially one that tells the recipient how special they are?!  I took a mini notepad and covered it with Sand cardstock making a loop on the side for the mini pen to slip into.  Then, I layered on one of the patterns from the Forever My Love paper pad to the front and used a piece over the top.  Using the Tag Duo dies, I stamped a sentiment from Kindness Cards on the smaller tag and layered on the sweet cheetah/leopard from the Heart Spots set on the larger tag.  The tags were then tied together with Caribbean Twine and a mini clothespin.  The 'fabulous' word from Kindness Cards stamp set/dies was stamped in Navy ink.

Special things come in small packages -- and this one contains something yummy, too!  Using the Goodie Box die, I cut Polar White cardstock and then used the heart die from Love Note to cut a 'window' on one of the panels and covered the opening from the inside with acetate.  I used a pattern paper from Forever My Love paper pad to cover the side/back panels and to cut the hearts.  The bigger hearts and XO's were cut using the XOXO Hearts dies; the smaller hearts using the Heart Tag Topper.  To finish,  I tied the lid with Strawberry Twine.

I love wrapping up chocolate nuggets!  It's so easy, yet adds a special touch and makes a neat gift!  I took a strip of Sand cardstock and slipped it into the celo bag to give support to the nuggets.  Taking 1"x3" strips of Love You Forever pattern papers, I wrapped each chocolate nugget and adhered at the back.  I used the longer Tag Duo die and stamped this sentiment from the Heart Filled Sentiments set; adding hearts from the XOXO Hearts and Heart Tag Topper dies.

Next on the hop is the awesomely talented Audrey Tokach...

  8. Oooh, you gave me a great idea for gifting a notepad & pen to my siblings.
Thank you!! My hubby & I are buying my mom's house (she passed away) and in
cleaning out her drawers, I have found SOOOOO many note pads AND pens (and
paper clips, rubber bands, staples, etc!!) and I was going to divvy them up
and give some to my sister and some to my brother. You always come up with
some of the cutest ideas. Appreciated! :-)
