Welcome back to my Saturday Coffee Café on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog! Hope you have a cup of delish brew and are
having a relaxing Saturday.
Not all Saturdays are relaxing, I know. If you’re not running around for athletic
games and errands, there’s housework or the never-ending laundry to do! I try to get as much done as I can on Friday
night. My co-workers think I’m nuts (or
at least don’t have a life) because I usually get grocery shopping done after
work on Friday. That leaves Saturday to
stay in “jammies” all day, but sometimes life happens and my weekly plans get
changed. It’s ok, though…there’s a
Starbucks in either direction of where errands may take me!
For my card, I chose this TimHoltz Bigz die, Tea Time, which I found on clearance at JoAnn Fabrics
recently. Using the new Distress Oxide
ink pads, I used the smooshing technique to 'color' the cups. The
side was created with Tim
Holtz Mix Media Thinlit Die. The
sentiment is from Verve’s set Coffee
Helps.
P.S. - Be sure to Save The Date:
I'm excited to submit my card into these fun challenges:
