Happy Monday! You know what that means? It's time for a new Merry Monday Christmas card challenge! Debbie is our hostess this week and she has a lovely challenge: Create a Christmas Card with Purple, White & Silver!
After 15 tries at getting the purple color in my card right, I decided to just roll with it :) The actual card's colors actually matched the purple color in the challenge logo, but my camera liked picking up the blues instead!
In any case, I created this card using a snowflake stencil and Color Bursts; added silver glitter cardstock behind the image and snowflake punches plus some thin silver ribbon.
Check out what the design team has created. Can't wait to see what YOU come up with!!
Just adore your shades of watercolored purple, Kathy - so perfect with the addition of the silver snowflakes!!
ReplyDeleteI had trouble photographing purple as well! Cameras must like to make them blue!! What a great technique with your stencil and colorbursts - the snowflakes look wonderful on this!
ReplyDeleteKathy, this is so pretty. Love it. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome stenciling, Kathy! Beautiful snowflakes! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful artistic card Kathy, your snowflakes are so pretty.
ReplyDelete15 tries! If any of those are even close to the beauty of this one, you've got one heck of a stack of pretty things to make into cards! :)
ReplyDeleteI think this card is just amazing Kathy! Your water colored snowflakes are just gorgeous and I am totally in LOVE with this card!! :0)
ReplyDeleteI can so relate to your difficulty with trying to get colors right! But they sure look great in the photo! Great job with this challenge. I hope to do a card this week...but, so far, the purple has me stumped!
