Purple Feathers

Every now and then there are a combination of challenges that I choose which really stretch my creativity!  Clean and Simple cards usually take me forever to do - I'm in awe of those who come up with those amazing CAS cards :) as are using monocromatic colors.

For this one, I brayered the die cut feathers (from Papertrey Ink) and then embedded them back into the card base that I had cut the feathers from.  I placed a dark purple cardstock behind the cut out feathers on the card base so when I embedded the cut outs, I could offset them just a smidge to give it a "shadow" or some depth.

Thanks to these challenges for helping me to create something I've not done before!!
