Every now and then there are a combination of challenges that I choose which really stretch my creativity! Clean and Simple cards usually take me forever to do - I'm in awe of those who come up with those amazing CAS cards :) as are using monocromatic colors.
For this one, I brayered the die cut feathers (from Papertrey Ink) and then embedded them back into the card base that I had cut the feathers from. I placed a dark purple cardstock behind the cut out feathers on the card base so when I embedded the cut outs, I could offset them just a smidge to give it a "shadow" or some depth.
Thanks to these challenges for helping me to create something I've not done before!!

ReplyDeleteCAS cards are a challenge for me too and always take me wayyyy longer than I think they should :o) One would never know that this isn't your normal style thought because it is absolutely fabulous.
