Saturday Coffee Cafe - Perfect Blends

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Cafe!  I'm so glad you stopped in today to see what's brewin'...

Coffee and crafting supplies ARE the perfect blend!  I love all different types of coffee cups and use them for many things other than coffee - like holding craft supplies.  I don't know about you, but I could spend hours in an office supply store because so many things there can be used in crafting - right?!

For my card, I used pattern paper from PhotoPlay Crafting With My Gnomies paper pad.  These super fun images are from Catherine Pooler's Desktop Treasures stamps/dies.  The sentiment is from Gina K Crafty Notes.

Coffee and Crafting

I can't believe we're almost wrapping up the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop!  Hopefully, you've had time to join the fun and have been enjoying all the wonderful creations that have been linked up!!

There's still ONE MORE DAY left!   LINK UP your Spring/Summer COFFEE OR TEA projects for a chance to win (pssst...there are TONS of prizes to be won from over 60 Super Sponsors!! Winners are randomly selected from entries)!  Enter as many projects as you'd like!  This hop is SO much fun and filled with incredible inspiration, too -- see you on the hop!

I managed to get a couple cards completed tonight...with some extra caffeine!  For this card, I layered a design from Trinity Stamps Black & White slimline paper pad onto the card base.  These fun cup shapes were created using STAMPlorations Zen Coffee Cups Layering Dies and the sweet crafty images are from Gina K Designs Crafty Notes!

Get Crafty!

Crafting makes everything better!  This awesome Crafty Notes stamp set by Gina K Designs makes my heart happy because it contains images of all the crafty tools I love to play with!

For my first card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then cut circles from Lawn Fawn White cardstock using Waffle Flower Stitched Nesting Circles dies; offsetting the die cuts.  I stamped and copic colored the craft images popping them up on and around the circle die cuts.  I then stamped the images using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad.

For my second card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then layered on a piece of Lawn Fawn White cardstock and blended some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink with the Mini Ink Blending Tool.  I stamped and copic colored several of the Crafty Notes images and arranged them.  To finish, I stamped the sentiment (my mantra!) with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad.
