STAMPlorations January CUTplorations Challenge

Happy New Year!  Can you believe that 2019 has begun?!  You know what else has begun...STAMPlorations January CUTplorations challenge!!  Here's this month's challenge photo - can't wait to see how you are inspired!

 Here's the challenge scoop:

• You can link up as many projects as you want (1 project per blog post)
• You must use at least 1 STAMPlorations product (stamp, stencil, die, or coloring page, or grab a FREE STAMPloration digi stamp)
• To qualify for the prize, players must display challenge graphic and link back to the challenge post (blogs only)

Prizes: $15 GC for the winner (voted by the team); $5 GC to three (3) randomly picked players.

One of my New Year's resolutions (every year) is to be better about sending birthday cards - maybe this year I'll actually do that!  One way to start was to create a birthday card and STAMPlorations has some fabulous products to use!

 

 I was inspired by the bright colors in this month's challenge photo.  For my card, I started by cutting white cardstock with one of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle dies and adhering to the card base and placed some bright, pink polka dotted pattern paper to the center for a backdrop.  Aren't these cupcakes just yummy?!  I used the Cupcake Builder #1 dies to cut bright cardstock for the bottoms and glittery cardstock for the 'icing' adding small sequins for 'sprinkles' :)  Then, I cut bright green cardstock using the Birthday Wishes word phrase die.

Cut It Up 100th Challenge!

 Can you believe it?  Cut It Up is celebrating it's 100th Challenge!!  In honor of the celebration, Evelyn has invited all the past Design Team Members to join in the fun!  YOU are also invited to join in the fun with our Anything Goes challenge!

For my card, I used a fun confetti/dotted pattern paper.  The box is a die cut from Neat & Tangled (love!) and I simply stuffed some white tissue inside and added the ribbon/bow.  Nothing says "festive" like sequins and I chose these pretty blue iridescent large ones :)  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Warm Winter Wishes

Happy Friday!  While I'm excited to be sharing this new Cut It Up Challenge (Brr, Winter), I'm sad to say this is my last as a design team member.  With multiple, previous commitments, I need to step down here. It's been so much fun working with the wonderful team members and I'll continue to play in the challenges as often as I can!

Cut It Up Challenge #84 - Inspired by a Song/Book

It's time for a new Cut It Up Challenge and Amy has a real fun challenge this time around:  Create a project that is inspired by a song or book (and remember to include a die cut!)

With Christmas right around the corner, I was inspired by the song "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"!  Can't wait to see what YOU come up with!
