STAMPlorations and Cupcake Inspirations

STAMPlorations is sponsoring a prize for Cupcake Inspirations challenge -- Sweet!

The challenge theme this time around is Pastels.  Any product or design is welcome as long as it follows the 'pastels' theme.  Come join the fun!

For my card, I used a soft pink polka dot pattern paper for the background.  Then I layered a soft blue cardstock and pretty plaid pattern paper cut from STAMPplorations Manila Tags Nesting Dies and added satin ribbon and pink twine.  I love this STAMPlortions Cupcake Builder #1 die collection!  To finish, I added the Sweet word die cut from pink cardstock.

Get Well Wishes

I think I've mentioned this before...my grandmother loved her cup of tea.  She believed it was the cure for just about anything.  No matter if I was sick with a cold, scraped my knee or just had a bad day, she'd make us cups of tea and tell me "Doll, sip some tea - it's good for you!"  It always did make me feel better, but I know she was the real reason for feeling better!

For my card, I chose several products from My Favorite Things.  The teapot was cut from pattern paper using Tea Party Die-Namics, the remaining images were created using Feel Better stamps and dies.  The pretty flower is from Paper Sweeties Pretty Posies set.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration:

Paper Sweeties Meets Cupcake Inspirations!

Paper Sweeties is so excited to be this week's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge sponsor!  The challenge is a theme:  TREES.  Easy peasy, right?

For my card, I used Paper Sweeties Merry & Bright Sweet Cuts.  I cut the tree from pattern paper and the star/ornaments from gold cardstock.  The cute sentiment is from Do You See What I See?

Hope you'll join this week's Cupcake Inspirations Challenge -- the winner will receive a $25 Paper Sweeties Gift Certificate!

Good luck!!

A BOO-tiful Surprise

Happy Halloween!  I got a very special sweet treat from the wonderful ladies at Cupcake Inspirations when they asked me to be this week's Surprise Sweetie!!  Thank you :), Naki, Nina and team!

The challenge this week is a color challenge and it's perfect for the upcoming festivities though you can use the colors with any images or theme -- that's totally up to you!

I'm definitely more of a "treat" versus "trick" kinda gal so for my card I went with these darling little ghosts from Papertrey Ink.  I placed vellum behind the Memory Box window die and "cracked" some of the panes with an Xacto.

Hope you'll join in the fun this week -- looking forward to seeing how you use these pretty colors!
