Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas

I'm so excited to be a guest designer for Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas!  From December 1-25, a different designer will be sharing their Paper Sweeties creations!

For my card I layered red cardstock and a snowflake pattern paper onto the cardbase.  Using one of the Square Scallop Frame dies, I cut black cardstock for the frame and a green pattern paper for the center.  Who can resist this darling Let It Snow outfit Sweeties Girl Abigail is wearing?! Her outfit is paper pieced and I added glitter to her hat, collar and coat cuffs.  The sentiment is also from the Let It Snow set.

Wishing you and yours a blessed holiday season!

Paper Sweeties 6th Anniversary Celebration!

Happy Birthday Paper Sweeties!  I'm so excited to be one of the special Guest Designers for the celebration!! If you haven't yet joined in on the festivities, there's still plenty of time -- check out the Paper Sweeties Blog or Facebook page for lots of inspiration, giveaways and sales!

 Let's Celebrate!

I love giving (and getting) flowers for special occasions! For my card, I layered a dark brown cardstock and wood grain pattern paper onto the card base.  I used the Basket stamp and Basket Sweet Cuts then filled it with pretty blooms.  I used one of the blooms in the Pretty Posies stamp set to stamp on different pattern papers and arranged them in the basket.  The sentiment is from the Love You To Pieces sentiment set.

Happy Anniversary, Debbie & Paper Sweeties!!

Paper Sweeties June Release Rewind - Welcome!

Hope you have been enjoying all the fun projects that have been shared featuring Paper Sweeties June Release products!  And today the DT have even more inspiration for you (see blog list below)!

For my project today, I created a sweet little tag to add to a housewarming gift.  I started by cutting white cardstock with the For You Sweet Cuts die and placed some gold shiny cardstock behind the window opening.  Then, I stamped the background using the 'brick' stamp in the new Home & Garden set and sponged a light yellow then brown ink over the top.  The door and tree are from the new Home & Garden Sweet Cuts and the sentiment is from the Home Is Where Your Story Begins stamp set.  To finish, I added Frosting Seam Binding.

Paper Sweeties June Release Party - No Place Like Home!

Today's the day!!  It's Paper Sweeties June Release Party and these adorable goodies are now available in the shop!

For my card, I created a distress oxide ink background for the grass and sky.  I then used the Home & Garden Sweet Cuts (and stamps for the brick pillars) to create the cottage and yard filled with trees ;)  The sun and clouds are from Somewhere Over The Rainbow Sweet Cuts and the sentiment is from the Somewhere Over The Rainbow stamp set.

You Warm My Heart

Whew - the last couple days of this holiday weekend have been filled with home projects and I haven't been able to get in my craft room to create.  Thankfully, I got a big one done and got to play tonight!

For my card, I used several Paper Sweeties products.  After layering a couple of pretty pattern papers, I used the With Love Sweet Cuts cutting white cardstock to create the "napkin edge" under the teapot.  The paper pieced teapot was created by stamping pattern paper and gold shiny cardstock (spout, lid and handle) with the Tea For Two stamp and cutting with the coordinating die.

The flowers/leaves are from the Pretty Posies stamp set.  I first stamped the flower on peach cardstock then on pattern paper - cutting out the center of the pattern paper flower and popping it onto the peach flower.  To finish, I stamped the You Warm My Heart sentiment and added Cookie Dough sequins.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration:

1) Use more than one pattern paper
2) Submit card in the Coffee Lovers Bloghop

(die-cut, florals, sequins)

Paper Sweeties May Release Rewind!

Hope you've been enjoying the projects over the last few days featuring Paper Sweeties May Release goodies!!

The darling box die (with fabulous word dies that are perfect for tags and such) is so versatile and perfect to fill with sweet treats, gift cards - or a special tea!  For my first Treat Box, I placed a piece of patter paper on the front/back/sides of the box then added the scallop borders using Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts.  The cup and birdie are from the You Warm My Heart stamp set and coordinating dies.  The sentiment is from the new Hay, Y'all stamp set!

My last Treat Box project was created by first using pattern paper for the box.  I then used the You Warm My Heart stamp set and coordinating dies to 'decorate' the box.  To finish, I added the Stitched Tags #1 die cut stamped with a sentiment from the new Hay, Y'all stamp set and tied with Frosting Seam binding.
