I've been wanting to create with these floral dies included in Spellbinders Envelope of Wonder and these challenges inspired me to use them!
Moving Along With The Times - Birthday
Craft Rocket Challenges - No Design Paper
The Flower Challenge - add embossing
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
Kathy, I just love the colors on this card, and the dies are amazing too. Stop, or I will be spending money over at Spellbinders! But seriously, your cards are gorgeous. Brown is my favorite color (strange but true) and the way these pink and red flowers pop off of it is really striking. I love the embossing too. It reminds me of and ice cream cone. Thanks for entering this lovely card with us at Word Art Wednesday. Your work is really so pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful card Kathy! The flowers are sooo pretty and I'm totally loving your brown embossed background too! It makes me think your card is like giving someone flowers and chocolate for their birthday!! Haha...can tell where my mind is at! But anyway, thanks so much for sharing this stunning card with us at The Flower Challenge!! Marcia (DT) :0)
ReplyDeleteAwesome texture here. The card is truly lovely, and good colour choices too. A lot of effort went into this one. Thanks for joining us at cardz4galz, Johanna DT

What a lovely design you've created with those flowers, Kathy! I especially like how they look on the dark embossed background (rather than white, which I always seems to be my default lol). Thanks for joining in at The Flower Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI love the background grid - it looks just like chocolate, ready to eat. Yum. adding those wonderful colored flowers just took the card over the top. Great way to use the colors from our Color Challenge at Die Cut Divas. Arlene, DT
