Reverse Confetti March Countdown to Confetti - Day One

Happy (almost) Spring!  If you're like me and live in a place that has been dealing with cold and snow, spring can't come soon enough!  One thing that you don't need to wait for is a sneek peek of Reverse Confetti's March release because today is Countdown to Confetti - Day One!  Over the next few days, the Design Team will be sharing sneek peeks of the new release available on March 8th!

Check out what the Design Team has to show you today!  Leave a comment on each designer's sneak peek post (link list below) by noon CST on the 7th for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Visit our Facebook page for another chance to win a $15 gift certificate! Winners will be announced at 5pm CST on 7th on the Reverse Confetti blog and Facebook page.

For my first card, I layered Buttercup cardstock and a pattern from the new Darling Dots paper pad onto the Cloud White card base. I created a distress oxide ink background then framed it using the new Stitched Note & Frames die cutting Buttercup cardstock.

This beautiful image and sentiment is from the new Hatbox Florals stamp set which I've copic colored.  The 'mom' die cut is one of the new Word Duo (Mom/Dad) dies which I cut from gold cardstock.

And here's one more sneek peak...get ready to celebrate!

For this card, I began by cutting Sand cardstock using the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel and adhering to the card base.  Using the new Word Up sentiment stamp set, I stamped different sentiments on strips of multi-colored cardstock.

The new 'hooray' word die is part of the Cheers and Hooray Word Duo.  I got a glossy look by embossing several layers of black embossing powder (with a sprinkling of white embossing powder).  To finish, I added a few multi-colored sequins.

Come back tomorrow for more sneak peeks of this fabulous release!
