For my card, I used several 'yummy' goodies from Reverse Confetti. For starters, I watercolored purple, ombre stripes using Grape Soda ink. Using the Jam Jar die, I made a distress oxide ink 'jar' and cut the top from a pattern paper from the Fun Times pad. The sentiment was stamped using In A Jam and coordinating die from Jam Jar. The 'blueberries' were cut from Grape Soda and Royal Purple cardstock and the spoon was cut from shiny silver cardstock using Love & Ice Cream Confetti Cuts.
Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration:
So sweet kathy!
ReplyDeleteYour jar of blueberry jam has sparked memories of picking blueberries, followed by my mom baking blueberry pies and jams. To this day, blueberry 'anything' (including the colour *grin*) is a favourite! Everything on your card, from the jar, to the stripes, to the spoon, to the berries and the pop of green lid, makes me smile! Thrilled that you joined in the Prominently Purple challenge over at Just Us Girls!

I love blueberries and have them almost every morning from some we picked and froze last summer. I may run out before the season begins. Your darling card is a welcome departure from all the purple flowers and you've designed it beautifully, Kathy.
