I got to play with some fun, new things! The coffee mugs are new dies from Paper Smooches (Coffee & Tea dies) and the "coffee" die cut is from Verve (I took advantage of the sale they have going on!) I used the bottom of the "f" s of the coffee die for the "steam".
Thanks to these challenges for inspiring my card!
CONGRATS to Colour Me on celebrating their 1 year anniversary!
...and by invitation:
I love these coffee cups with the steam coming out! How clever to use the bottom of the f's in the die cut! This makes me wish for a good cup of coffee! Happy New Year, my friend!
ReplyDeleteWhat an eye for design you have, Kathy! The background embossing is perfection for your coffee cups, which are brilliantly paper-pieced and the rustic twine ties it all up like a gift! Oh, and please, to think of using the bottom of the fs for the steam is nothing short of genius!! Thank you so much for linking this beauty up with my NBUS Challenge #3!! Happy New Year! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove those cute coffee mugs Kathy! A lovely, colourful card . . . really perks one up! Hazel x

Leaving you with God's Word in Hebrews 7:25 which says, "Therefore he (Jesus) is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them."
