Hi, Doll!

I've had this cute stamp set and die from My Favorite Things for a long time.  I bought it because it reminds me of my grandmother. "Nanie" always called me "doll".  She was the only one who called me that and I was the only one she named that :) 

I had a wonderful relationship with Nanie -- she loved unconditionally, gave the best hugs and talked to me like I was the most important person in the world. She lived right next door and I sat and talked with her every day after school.  Of course I always felt I was her favorite granddaughter (even though she had 13 grandchildren!)  She passed away 34 years ago, yet every time I hear the word "doll", I can hear her saying my name!
