Keeping things "simple" is always a challenge for me (not only in card making :)! Thanks to two super challenge blogs, I was able to keep this Christmas card simple, but (I think) pretty!
First, a color challenge from Dynamic Duos. I enjoyed combining these two colors. You can't see it too well in the photo, but I have tiny red rhinestones around the wreath which sparkle a lot better "live".
And the inspiration for the card came from Festive Friday's inspiration challenge (their challenges are always so beautiful!)
Very pretty with the oversized bow! I love the clean feel of this card! Thanks for joining us at Festive Friday!
ReplyDeleteYou've made a very pretty, subtle card, which was a challenge with this bright color combo! All the white space makes that great red bow pop all the more. Love your hand-colouring of the wreath leaves. Thanks for linking up with Dynamic Duos this week.
ReplyDeleteYour subtle embossed background is a great way to keep it simple, Kathy! Love that sweet wreath and perfect bow! Thanks for joining us at Dynamic Duos!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is my favourite colour combo for Christmas (you should check out this week's new challenge!), so I love your card! Sorry to be late with commenting, but thank you so much for joining us at Festive Friday!
