Simple Little Christmas

Sunday, November 3, 2013

Keeping things "simple" is always a challenge for me  (not only in card making :)!  Thanks to two super challenge blogs, I was able to keep this Christmas card simple, but (I think) pretty!

First, a color challenge from Dynamic Duos.  I enjoyed combining these two colors.  You can't see it too well in the photo, but I have tiny red rhinestones around the wreath which sparkle a lot better "live".

And the inspiration for the card came from Festive Friday's inspiration challenge (their challenges are always so beautiful!)

  2. You've made a very pretty, subtle card, which was a challenge with this bright color combo! All the white space makes that great red bow pop all the more. Love your hand-colouring of the wreath leaves. Thanks for linking up with Dynamic Duos this week.
