Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember: Reverse Confetti

Reverse Confetti is thrilled to be part of Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember celebration!!

Our exclusive set, Wonderful You, is elegant and versatile.  Perfect for all seasons and all occasions!

For my card, I began by cutting Premier Cloud White cardstock with the new Stitched Circles Cover Panel from the new Holiday Release.  I then cut Dark Roast cardstock using the See Through Tag die, slipped the Wonderful You leaves through the top opening and placed the circle cut from the center of the tag off to the side.

I stamped the sentiment onto Bumblebee cardstock cut from one of the Tag Duo dies and cut off the one end.  The sentiments in this set are wonderful and the font is so cool!

Saturday Coffee Cafe - Latte Love

Happy New Year and welcome to the Saturday Coffee Café!   So glad you’re here because today there’s a latte love in the air!

Today I got a little inky with alcohol inks.  First, I brushed red and brown alcohol inks onto alcohol ink cardstock and let it dry.  I dropped red then brown alcohol ink, dropping some blending solution and moving around the color.

These pretty hearts were cut from dark brown cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Stacked Hearts die.  Today’s “cup ‘o joe” was created using Lil Inker Designs Latte Love stamp set.  I gold embossed the cup then stamped the “coffee” and clear embossed a few times for a textured, shiny look.  The gold embossed sentiment is also from the Lil Inker Designs Latte Love set.

Hope you have a great Saturday filled with a latte love!

Simply Caffeine and Kindness

In the mail today, I received a surprise from a very sweet person...she wrote a lovely note in a card with a Starbucks gift certificate!  It was totally unexpected, but really made my day...a gift of caffeine and kindness!!

For my simple card, I gold embossed these lovely outlined leaf images from Simon Says Stamp's One With Nature set.  The two cup images and sentiment are from a couple of wonderful sets from Right At Home: Cup of Joy.  I then stamped the One With Nature images onto the cup and the sentiment onto the base.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration:

Coffee & Friends

Coffee and Friends is what the Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop is all about!  If you haven't joined in the uber fun yet, definitely do so today!   Flash Prizes will be chosen tonight from the projects submitted - check out the details HERE!

I have a lot of coffee/tea stamp sets and dies...but one can never have too many!  For some reason, I went back and forth on this super cute set from Simon Says Stamp called Coffee and Tea.  Then, when I had the opportunity to shop the on-site store at Stamp & Create it just magically jumped in my bag (ok, my hands gave it a little help!).  I love to paper piece and this set is perfect for that technique!  The bottom half of my card was embossed with Tim Holtz Ringer embossing folder.

Coffee and Sprinkles!

Sprinkles make everything festive!  And since we're still celebrating our love of coffee/tea at the Coffee Lovers Bloghop, I thought it appropriate to make a festive sprinkles card!

For my card, I started with a colorful pattern paper from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow Petite Paper pack.  The cup, from Simon Says Stamp What's Brewing set, was paper pieced and I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to look like 'coffee'.  I colored these darling donuts from Lawn Fawn's Donut Worry set and added Papertrey Ink "Sprinkles" word die cut.

I'm happy to be entering my card in these fab challenges, too:

Christmas Sweater Weather

It's most definitely sweater weather!  I think it's so funny that "ugly Christmas sweaters" are actually cool now!  If I had a Christmas sweater with a coffee cup on it, it would be anything but ugly...how could it be...I mean we're talkin' coffee here!!

My card started with Stampin Up's knit embossing folder for the background and - of course - the sweater die cut.  That die cut is from Simon Says Stamp, by the way.  The frame die is from My Favorite Things, cup from Verve Stamps and the sentiment is Paper Smooches.  How's that for an equal opportunity card? :)
