For my first card, I layered Dark Roast cardstock to the cardbase.  I then cut Piggy Bank cardstock with the Plaid Lines Big Confetti Cuts and Sand cardstock with the Plaid Lines Small Confetti Cuts; layering both onto the card base.

The beautiful new LILY OF THE VALLEY images and sentiment are set off on the Circle Rays Duos backdrop cut from Sand cardstock.

And now on to my next project...

I created a distressed oxide ink background and cut Midnight cardstock with one of the dies from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts; adhering it to the card base.  I then added these fabulous images and sentiments from the new ORANGE BLOSSOM stamp set with coordinating dies.  I wove the larger oranges image through one of the smaller frames found in the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts; popping up the frame and other images with foam pop up strips/dots.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for Countdown to Confetti Day Two and lots more sneak peeks!

Hippity Hoppity

Hippity, hoppity Easter is on it's way - which means Spring is too!!  Kat Scrappiness has so many fresh and festive goodies for Spring and Easter which makes crafting even more fun!

My first card is a slimline shaker.  After layering a pretty pattern paper to my card base, I created a shaker element using the new Slimline Film Strip Border dies as the frame, lined the back and in between strips with foam tape, then added these sprinkles/sequins before enclosing the opening:  Pastel Sprinkles, Light Pink Confetti, Brown Confetti, Soft Yellow Confetti and Mint Confetti.  Then, I cut colored cardstock with the smaller die in the Stitched Easter Bunny Outline Dies set and gave each a cute white tail using the White Bunny Tails.  To finish, I added the word diecuts using the Brush Script Happy Easter Word Dies.

My next card was super simple to create!

I used the new Happy Easter Bunny stamp as my focal point and colored in his ears and feet - so cute!  For the outer frame, I cut a soft pink cardstock with the Mini Slimline Wonky Die and popped it up over the stamped image piece.  I cut clouds from the dies found in the Slimline Rainbow Die set and cut two different colors of green cardstock using the Slimline Grass Border die for the bottom.

Hoppy Easter

The newest Pink & Main release is really fun and fabulous and will put you in a wonderful spring mood!

For my card, I cut lilac cardstock with one of the Layered Slimline Dies and adhered it to the card base. I then used the Sympathy Slimline Dies and one of the Layered Slimline Dies to create the yellow 'frame'. The pretty pattern paper background is from the All Occasion Florals paper pad

Is this just the cutest bunny? The images are from the new Love Ewe stamps with coordinating dies! The 'hello' is from the new Big Vertical Greetings set which is perfect for cards and tags - especially slimline styles!

Saturday Coffee Cafe - Pretty Cups

Happy Saturday everyone and welcome to the Cafe!  Come on in an see what's brewin today...

There's something special about that first cup of coffee in the morning especially when drinking it out of your favorite coffee cup!  Call me crazy (it wouldn't be the first time!), but my coffee cups have to feel just right in my hand and be just the right size. Yep, it's all about the cups!

My card is pretty simple today.  I layered cardstock and this cute coffee-themed pattern paper to the card base.  Then, I cut coordinating pattern paper and cardstock using two super fun die sets from Divinity Designs.
