Welcome back for a new Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge!! Our challenges are Anything Goes, but each month there is an optional twist. This month's twist: STAR.
For those who know me, I've been challenged with my last Christmas present...a new camera. It's not a fancy-dancy one, just a small one similar to one I previously used. It was a wonderful, thoughtful gift from my husband and daughter. There's just a teeny-tiny issue: I can't seem to take great shots with it! So, you'll see a few new backgrounds, angles, coloring/exposure etc. until I figure it out (I think it's that "old dog/new tricks" thing)!
For my card, I die cut a white star and layered on a decorative, gold star then added some tiny red rhinestones and some gold - you got it - stars!
Hope you'll join the fun this month! I'm really looking forward to seeing your gorgeous creation. There's also a $15 HLS discount up for grabs for the winner!
What an elegant color palette and I love all the swirls and other details, such a rich card! Great to be your new teammate at HLS Christmas!

This is gorgeous Kathy. I am very curious about the swirls in the background. Is that a stamp? Or did you do that by hand. Regardless, it's wonderful. Stephanie, DT.
ReplyDeleteLove all those swirly whirly background curves, really sets off that golden focal star brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful star Kathy and I love the dotty swirly background! Gorgeous.
