Oh, Baby!

Friday, May 24, 2019

Oh, baby - have you seen Pink & Main's new release?!  It's filled with awesome new dies, darling stamps and brand new embellishments!

For this card, I layered light aqua cardstock and a pattern from the Something Whimsy paper pad.  Using one of the Stitched Rectangle 2 dies to cut blush cardtock and one of the Top Note dies to cut light aqua cardstock, I layered up the background.  This precious baby, bottle, hair bow, pins and sentiment are from the new Bundle of Joy stamp set and coordinating die.

To coordinate with the card, I created a little gift bag cutting another pattern from the Something Whimsy paper pad using the Gift Bag die.  I love this Extra Large Bow die which I used to cut bright purple cardstock.  The little onsie and 'baby' word are from the new Bundle of Joy set, too!

Enabler alert!!  Beginning tomorrow through Monday, save 20% on your Pink & Main purchase!

Congrats Grad

Our family celebrated two graduations this month!  My niece graduated high school and my daughter graduation from college!  We're so very proud of these wonderful women!

Divinity Designs new release came at the perfect time to create this special gift for the graduates in your life!

The Explosion Box Dies makes it so easy to create a fun, interactive gift/card giving the recipient a real 'wow'!  The coordinating Explosion Box Pockets and Layers Dies allows you to quickly add little pockets for notes, money, pictures, etc. and cut pattern paper to the panels in a snap.  I also love the Mini Box die which can be used alone or added to the center of the Explosion Box to put little treats in!

I also used the new Grad dies, Dream Big stamp set and Large Numbers dies.

Congratulations to all the grads out there!!

Sweet Birthday

Wednesday, May 22, 2019

Birthdays are special!  We have several birthdays in May including my mom (who celebrates in heaven).  Everyone has one day a year that is all about them...and that is so worth celebrating!

For my card today, I'm featuring several pretty things from Reverse Confetti!  I first layered a pattern paper strip from the From Cupid paper pad onto the card base.  Using the All Framed Up dies cut from Premier White cardstock, I framed the outer part of the card and the cake image placing Flamingo cardstock behind the inside frame.  The beautiful cake, flowers and sentiment are from the Cake & Champagne set and coordinating dies -- one of my favs from the May release!  The sentiment is stamped on vellum.

Thanks to these fun challenges for the inspiration!

Get Crafty!

Crafting makes everything better!  This awesome Crafty Notes stamp set by Gina K Designs makes my heart happy because it contains images of all the crafty tools I love to play with!

For my first card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then cut circles from Lawn Fawn White cardstock using Waffle Flower Stitched Nesting Circles dies; offsetting the die cuts.  I stamped and copic colored the craft images popping them up on and around the circle die cuts.  I then stamped the images using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad.

For my second card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then layered on a piece of Lawn Fawn White cardstock and blended some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink with the Mini Ink Blending Tool.  I stamped and copic colored several of the Crafty Notes images and arranged them.  To finish, I stamped the sentiment (my mantra!) with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad.

Divinity Designs May DT Color Challenge

Saturday, May 18, 2019

It's time for Divinity Designs Design Team Color Combo Challenge!  This month's color combo was inspired by the colors in the Old Glory Paper Pad...

For my card, I first cut white cardstock using one of the Pierced Rectangles dies.  I then used the new Quilted Triangle die to cut pattern papers from the Old Glory paper pad and the Patriotic Collection.  To finish, I used the Happy Stamp/Die set.

Pink & Main May Sneak Peek

Friday, May 17, 2019

Pink & Main's May Release is blooming with a garden full of beautiful flowers!!  Today's sneak peek features three new floral dies and a background die!  The entire new release is available on May 20th!

Daisies just make me happy!  The new Daisy Die is big, bright and super easy to put together.  I layered the flower onto the new floral background die which I 'embossed' vs. cut by adding another layer of cardstock in my die cut machine.  To finish, I added the Smile word die.

Don't you just love pansies?!  They come in so many beautiful colors.  For this card, I chose a classic purple color to use with the new Pansy Die, again layering the flower onto the new floral background die which I 'embossed'.  To finish, I added the Hello word die.

Following the same design for my last card, I cut bright red cardstock for the flower in the new Mum Die and finished with the Thanks word die.
