Divinity Designs April DT Color Challenge
Saturday, April 20, 2019
It's time for Divinity Designs Design Team Color Combo Challenge! This month's beautiful color combo was inspired by the colors in the Beautiful Blooms Paper Pad and perfect for Spring!
For my project, I created a pretty gift bag using the Card Caddy & Gift Bag Dies. This darling gift bag just the right size, measuring 7-3/4" by 4-3/4". I also used the Gift Bag Handles & Topper Dies for this gift bag. The sentiment, from the Happy Stamp/Die Duo set, was placed on one of the lovely papers from the Beautiful Blooms Paper Pad cut using on of the Circle Dies and layered using one of the Scallop Circles Dies.

Divinity Designs new Explosion Box Dies takes away all the measuring, cutting and scoring work previously done to make one of these awesome boxes!
The new Explosion Box dies make creating this box super easy! Using the new Explosion Box Pockets & Layers dies adds fun little pockets to tuck in notes, treats, photos, etc. With the new Mini Box die, you can put a little gift right in the center of the Explosion Box. You can also use this Mini Box to hold a present or treats all by itself!
I created a musical theme with these products: Notable Notes Paper Pad, Musical Notes Dies and the Guitar Die. I used the Alphabet Flag dies to create little banners on top of the box.

Blast Off!
Pink & Main's April Release is about to blast off! But until then, here's a sneak peek of what's coming...
For the background, I used a pattern design from the new Galaxy Foil paper pad! Beautiful watercolor 'galaxy' designs with silver foil stars -- a must have from this release!
I used the new My Universe stamp set and coordinating dies for the images which were copic colored. The stars were cut from silver glitter paper cut with the new Stitched Stars Dies!
Be sure to check out all the sneak peeks the Design Team is sharing. The new release launches on April 20th!

Divinity Designs new release has so many wonderful products to celebrate special occasions...such as Mother's Day!
For my card, I first cut a paper from the new Pretty Pink Peonies pad using on of the Pierced Rectangle Dies then layered on a pretty floral pattern from the pad. Using the Lavish Layers Dies, I cut a dark olive cardstock and placed a strip of Pretty Pink Peonies paper on top. The lovely flower is from the new Grandmother's Heart set which was stamped and colored on white cardstock cut with one of the Circle Dies and layered with pink paper cut from one of the Scallop Circle Dies.
To finish, I created a little Pretty Pink Peonies bow using a die contained in both the Test Tube Treat and Test Tube Trio Dies and placed it on the sentiment piece which was cut using one of the Pierced Rectangle Dies.
Be sure to stop by the Divinity Designs blog to view the entire release complete with video and special bundle offers!
And now for my next card...
The new Quilted Triangle Die has an unlimited amount of possible color/print combinations when using the inlaid die technique! I've always wanted to lean how to quilt, but never seemed to get to it...now with this die I can!
For my card, I created a 4.25"x 4.25" card base. I then cut black cardstock using one of the Scallop Square Dies. Cutting the Quilted Triangle Die in white cardstock as the 'frame' first, I then cut Pretty Pink Peonies and Chalkboard Collection papers with the die and used the inlaid die technique to 'color in' the spaces. To finish, I used the Happy Stamp/Die Duo.

Coffee Loving Cardmakers: Design Team Close Up
Hi there, CLC
fans – Kathy here! Since we’ve had an increase in the amount of
caffeinated friends that have joined the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Facebook Group so we thought
it was a good time to do some new intros. Here’s a little about me…
My husband and
I have been married for 24 years and have been blessed with a beautiful,
wonderful daughter who will be graduating college next month. It’s hard to believe we are parents of an adult, but so excited to see her come
into her own and go after her dreams.
She continues to amaze us.
My crafting journey
earnestly began over 20 years ago after attending a Stampin’ Up!
demonstration. I had always enjoyed
doing some kind of crafting: cross-stitch, crocheting, papercrafts – but
stamping had me hooked and I soon became an SU demo. I posted my very first card on Splitcoast
Stampers in 2006, but it wasn’t until 2013 that I began a blog and started
playing in challenges. I was really late
to the Instagram party and only started becoming active there last year.
This was my very first card created
for CLC with STAMPlorations products.
Having played in the Coffee Loving Blog Hops, I was thrilled when Amy
invited me to be part of the awesome Coffee Loving Cardmakers team in August
2016 – which totally enabled me to use (and keep building) my huge stash of
coffee/tea/cocoa stamps and dies!
Throughout my crafting journey, I’ve been on
several design teams and met lots of on-line friends and stamp/die brand owners
who continue to inspire me every day!
Here are a few of my fav coffee/tea/cocoa cards...
My Saturday Coffee Café creations are posted every other Saturday - hope you'll stop in!
