Reverse Confetti Fall-idays Blog Hop - Thanksgiving Dinner

Tuesday, October 9, 2018

Welcome back to Reverse Confetti Fall-idays Blog Hop!  Today the Design Team and some special guests are sharing Thanksgiving-themed projects.  Hope you'll hop along and be inspired PLUS enjoy 15% off your entire order October 8-10, 2018!!

Setting the table for Thanksgiving is as much a family tradition as our meal! There have been years that my daughter and I have go way out so much so that there was almost no room to eat dinner!  This year...we're going clean and simple!

With a simple rustic theme, I created these utensil pockets.  I cut Dark Roast cardstock using the Bag & Tags Creator and gold embossed one of the sentiments in the Fall Foliage set.  Using one of the patterns from the Abundant Autumn paper pad, I wrapped the pocket with it and a piece of wide natural ribbon.  The leaves from the Fall Foliage set were gold embossed on Dark Roast cardstock and cut.

I used the tag die from the Bag & Tags Creator to make the "placecard" which I haven't decided whether to place on a napkin ring or in a pinecone :)

My daughter made us these wood cut name 'cards' last year (which I added one of the Fall Foliage leaves to) so we may just use both!

Reverse Confetti Fall-idays Blog Hop - Boo Yea!

Monday, October 8, 2018

Welcome to Reverse Confetti's Fall-idays Blog Hop!  Hope you'll hop along with us for the next few days and be inspired by the wonderful projects the Design Team and special guests wish to share with you!  Also, enjoy 15% off your entire order October 8-10, 2018!!

Halloween is almost here!  I made the 'mistake' of buying candy early (it was on sale, after all!).  That was the first mistake.  The second mistake is that I opened the bag - sigh - those bite sized chocolates are just too addictive!

For my card, I've used several super fun products from the newest release!  For the card, I cut Tangerine cardstock with the new Triangles Cover Plate to place on the card base and layered a pattern from the Abundant Autumn paper pad on the left side of the card.

Using the jar stamps/dies from Cotton & Thistles, I first created 'candy corn' jars by taking the Tangerine and Bubblebee ink pads and sliding the ink pad across Premier Polar White cardstock to make two stripes.  Then, I stamped the image over the yellow, orange and plain/white and die cut.  For the last jar, I white embossed the image on Midnight cardstock, die cut the jack-o-lantern face using one of the dies in Halloween Bits Confetti Cuts and placed Tangerine cardstock behind.  To finish the jars, I tied black/white twine to the 'necks' and added some leaves from the new Fall Foliage set.  The little ghost is from the new Frightening Friends set and the sentiment; the new Boo Yea set.

To complete my project, I used the Treat Tube Topper Confetti Cuts to cut Midnight cardstock and one of the patterns in the Abundant Autumn paper pad and filled the clear Treat Tube with candy corn M&Ms.

Reverse Confetti October Stock You Stash Challenge

Happy October and welcome to a new Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge!  This month's challenge theme is one you're gonna love...

Check out all the details on the Reverse Confetti blog and click on  The Play To Win button.  There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of the monthly challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month.

For my card, I started by sponging Sand ink using the Pointed Out Stencil and then sponging over the edges several more times.  Using the Happy Harvest stamp set, I stamped the first using Stone and Dark Roast inks.  Then using the coordinating Happy Harvest die, I cut two patterns from the Every Little Bit paper pad.

I just love this darling squirrel from and leaves/branches from Nuts About You...isn't he sweet?!  The pretty sentiment is from Autumn Blessings.
